I thought Bill said at the time he felt the crime law was going to help and that's why he was for it and the ill effects were unintentional.

Then he had that whole outburst reaction to those BLM ppl interrupting him and straight up saying you would have to be for drug dealers dealing to kids and the killing of your own. He was a bit hoarse but very direct and amped shutting ppl down.

The article is a response to Bill altercation with BLM protesters.

Like I said, Bill stretches the truth and BS in some places, but he put up the best defense he could. Which is giving context to why the bill happened

In order for me, to believe Bill Clinton's reasoning for the bill, I would have to believe that Presidents are kept in the dark about the consequences of some of their actions.

I would lay some blame on their advisors.

This kind of explains President Obama's intervention in Libya. He probably had no idea what was really at stake based on the military intelligence he was given.

The thing is at the time there wasn't some huge backlash to the bill that damaged his presidency. If it was these issues would've been addressed then.

At the time on the local I'm sure they all thought everybody that was going to prison was cuz they were criminals.

I think most of what Trump says is in poor taste.

If it turns out to be Trump v. Sanders I could see the need for a change in rhetoric. Right now I think both candidates are trying to appeal to independents. Trumps just caters to the more individualistic, ego-maniacal, racist segment of independents lol.
