Chris Rock ‏@chrisrockoz
Both candidates debated poorly. Obama is thinking about his anniversary. Romney is nervous near a black man. Jim Lehrer is made out of clay.

If Romney won then its on style.

Romney loses on facts and details.

I can't believe this analysis.

Really hope Obama doesn't get elected again.
That is all.

Obama has never gone to a public school or sent his kids to one either.

But that's a point most people want to overlook.

Was this comment meant to be devoid of anything useful?

Theres nothing wrong with going to a good school but you can't overlook that when making policy.

MA is a state with a small population. Many of its citizens are well off. It has a large number of private schools. They don't even have medicare. its not the same as the rest of the country.

Um...yeah

Don't get me wrong, I'm voting for Obama regardless, but that was a weak performance. Let's just be honest here.

You guys say Obama did great cause he had a calm demeanor.
Tv is saying Obama did bad cause of his calm demeanor.

I didn't learn anything during this debate other then these two pulling random math from the air.
Obama wants to hire more math teachers, but destroyed the space program.
Mitt likes to yell to express his thoughts.
Obama has a more likable smile.
Mitt threw punches, Obama bare countered any of them.

Hopefully the next debate is more organized. They were talking about the US budge for like half an hour.
I'm surprised Obama never mentioned how much college basketball he watches or how much he hangs out with Jay-Z cause he's sooo hip.

Pay attention.

Those are promises. Yes, he kept those. But when campaigning there was little detail about how those promises would actually eve accomplished. It was part of the Obama campaign strategy. They knew he was a great speaker and they banked on that getting him into the White House. Because once you start going into detail, people can start nitpicking. All candidates do it. But I see the backlash with Mitt doing it when Obama pulled the exact same games four years ago.

I think the debate was a wash. Obama kept it cool while Romney went hard on the attack. The problem with Romney's debate tactic tonight was that he was going on the attack without providing anything of substance on his end. He brought up figures which drove the point home that things are amiss in this country but he left out, or attributed without merit to Obama, what the reasons for the hardship were. He did not offer any specifics as to how he would rectify the situation here but instead attacked Obama's policies. At this point, none of us really know what Romney plans to do if elected to office. His entire game plan is to basically be the antithesis of Obama and I don't think that's going to resonate with most Americans.

On a human level, and it's kind of dumb that this even matters but, Obama came off much more likable on this debate. He kept calm and debated his points clearly while Romney incessantly interrupted and brought up off-topic points of discussion. And, in my opinion, Romney's "sincere" look is incredibly creepy.

The debate is essentially about style, it's inherent in the format.

If obama says you can't pay for those tax cuts, Romney can smile and say he can.

Yes, because George Bush "knew" where Bin Laden was, he just didn't make "the call"..

All I'm saying, to go and give Obama "personal credit" for killing Bin Laden or even finding him isn't justified..

Then this dude wants to repeal any sort of regulation that would prevent this in the first place. Its not perfect, but the bill was tougher BEFORE he had to be shaved down.

The funny thing is that he didn't say anything. What's his economic policy? Other than sitting down with members of Congress

Yep I am an MD but was recently seen by a PA and I must say it was a joke of a physical exam, now all PA's are not created equal but the training is far from equal but they are becoming more and more able to practice like a licensed physician

Romney won tonight.

Obama looked terrible, he's still got my vote but he did nothing to sway the people on the fence.

Obama had time after time to call Romney out on his BS and he let EVERYTHING slide mean.gif

Ill give Mitt round one, but we still have 2 more debates to go. Maybe Obama is waiting on the last 2 debates, to really go in on romney..

Seems like his plan is to debate harder closer to election day

What is winning to you all?

Looking good?

Presenting good arguments?

I mean really.

Obama has my vote as well.

However he did not win tonight. He surely didn't lose the election tonight but this race is now much closer. Watch the poll numbers go up for Romney in the next few days. Polls will definitely move. Energy has been restored within the Republican party.

Alright, name some specifics that Romney laid out that are realistic or factual. I'm not swayed by how Romney seemed to dominate the conversation by interrupting left and right and talking over people. To me, he didn't lay out any specifics as to what he would do. When Obama accused his plan as being mathematically impossible, Romney just smiled and said "I have five studies that say it is possible." What are these studies? Coming off this debate, I know the same amount about Romney's plan for the country as I did before the debate.

I don't understand how anyone at this point can be undecided about who to vote for. These debates are completely worthless.

Energy or legitimare arguments?

I can't deal with all these appeals to emotion. Its insulting.

Yall gotta realize majority of america is dumb and uninformed so they were entertained by Romney. And first half Obama seemed like he was talking strictly to the a group of people at Yale.
Yup most people have already made up their mind on who to vote.

My friend went on contraceptive pills for the first time today. She saw a PA. Follow up after starting combined OCPs is 3 months to make sure the woman hasn't developed hypertension. When was the follow up offered? One year. You want to be us, then do our job correctly. This stuff makes me FURIOUS. Luckily I'm there to make sure she gets proper care. Not everyone is as fortunate.
