The thing that perplexes me is that when trump does offer specifics, he mentions stuff Obama's administration is already doing. So it's either just spouting off rhetoric/slogans or stuff that's already being done.

I don't get how anyone of intelligence can't see this. I get if you're a die hard republican or don't like Hilary for any number of reasons, but to say trump is a viable candidate is just plain dumb.

I mean geez, he wants to binge borrow more than $500 billion for infrastructure spending alone saying interest rates are low, it's a good time to borrow the money....

Well, you see, the thing is.... the vast majority of his supporters are dumb. They might be a "smart" dumb, where they try to think critically and explain their views as being free-thinkers, but really they're just sheeping along behind the angriest guy because he's the loudest. We all know dumb people enjoy loud things and high emotion.


Not to say ALL of Trump supporters are stupid. They might just be racist.

Polls have his party in the lead since June. Partij Voor De Vreiheid (shortened to PVV) is his party. The VVD currently holds the most seats in parliament and is looking to take a major loss in the upcoming elections. His completely insane "de-islamization" plan has only just been announced though so we'll see if they stay in the lead. Hopefully not.

Wilders has made it very clear he's a racist and everyone knows it. He has literally said things like "we need to get rid of all the Moroccans in our country", that was one of the statements he was prosecuted for if I recall correctly.

As for Wilders becoming the next PM, it's looking like a real possibility.

Not being a Democrat or Republicans doesn't mean you're in the middle (i.e a moderate), you have independent liberals and independent conservatives.

Party affiliation doesn't not strictly determine politicial philosophy

Independents many times have some of the strongest ideological views, but are not registered with a party for whatever reason.

I work in jeffco, and live in the neighboring county of boulder county. Boulder county has probably one of the highest percentage of democratic voters in the country. Maybe trump just realized they should put anybody with any real skills in a county that will probably vote democratic by large amounts.
