Today was the first time I've seen our national news broadcast inject their opinion into reporting on Trump.

Note that our national news broadcasts are very neutral and it's very rare to see any sort of opinionating. Our news formats are basically "Trump/Hillary said (comment) followed by a video of the comments, and that's it. The "grab her by the *****" audio came in the news today of course, and you could tell the (female) anchor felt a bit uneasy while the audio played, but the next segment was the final nail in the coffin to maintain neutrality towards Trump. The anchor even said viewers should prepare themselves for extremely offensive rhetoric before playing the next clip 

They played the clip of Trump telling sick or even terminally ill people to go vote in the most offensive way he could have put it.

My mom doesn't get shocked easily but even she was sickened by how offensive it was.

I'm hoping we've reached the part where his name has become so toxic that folks really start thinking hard about the detriment to their own careers that associating with Mr. Deplorable would bring long term.

Paul Ryan needs to show some real leadership if he wants to be the leader of the post-Trump reconstruction GOP.
