More than 3,000 allegations
 of hate crimes were made to UK police, largely in the form of harassment and threats, in the week before and the week after the 23 June referendum vote, a year-on-year increase of 42%.

The catch is that they work you like a dog and don't give you the support you need to run the unit smoothly.

My arrangement isn't typical.  I gave the position up over the summer and they begged me to come back.  I told them that if they wanted me to come back they'd have to make it worth my while, so they made it worth my while.
