1928 was last time Republicans had the White House, the House and the Senate...

Nah, you mean after an election. It has happen after midterms. As recently as Dubya

You knew what I meant

Brah I'm in my feelings right now. My bad

My moms calling me asking me to explain if this means she gonna lose her insurance. She constantly got something going with her health.

I can hear voicing cracking because of worry :smh: and I can't honestly tell her if it will be ok. :smh:

There is still hope...

Exactly like the Brexit vote:

Those geezers straight hijacking their children's future and not giving two dambs in the process.

The mainstream media has lost ALL credibility with this.

They were holding out reporting results like crazy till the bitter end last night.

They wernt out of touch with what was going on...they knew fine well trump had massive support nation wide and did everything they could to stop it on behalf of their bosses. Coverage was so bias it became pathetic.

Glad to see these smug frauds eating crow today.

I feel you,it looks like the most uncertain situation/environment for POC in the country in my lifetime. Stay safe/strong my American bros, the fight must go on. Can't have this be a KO blow to the left for a while the way Reagan was :smh:

Celebrities don't have influence but they have money, they need to put that money to use in the form of SuperPACs to fund the right candidate.

Its not about Celebrities or SuperPacs either.

Clinton raised over $687,261,894 in Campaign funds compared to Donald's $306,930,980

It's about inspiring people to VOTE. Ninja was hammering at us about the rallies Trump had compared to Clintons. The excitement and thrill for Trump was real and we were too blind to see all that because of all the hate the media kept hammering at us on a daily.

Seems what's required isn't to get people to NOT vote for someone, even if that person is the worst, but it's about how many voters you yourself can get enthused and mobilize to the polling stations.

The lesser of 2 evils thing didn't cut it here.

If only the Dems had some sort of organic, grassroots movement on their side at one point gaining momentum to counteract the rising red tide...oh :smh:

Only if they showed up to vote............oh :smh:

Give em someone to be excited to vote for

Like the most progressive platform in the parties history that has something in it for every group in the tent................Like that?

Keyword, Someone

Idea don't sell themselves, neither does someone who half *** believes in those ideas. Need someone that people connect with on a human level to really light a flame in them. That's how Trumps support ran so deep

Obama sold them hope.

They abandon him when he chose to seek bipartisanship, and let the Tea Party run wild in midterms

At some point, liberal, all liberals have to get it into their head that we ride with the best option no matter the disagreements.

The GOP does that. Tons of people probably hated Trump voted for him because "you know, party unity and such"

Even if Hillary wasn't far left like Bernie, she was the next best option, and she would have signed all of the platform into law if given the chance.

But she didn't make them feel excited, and the DNC didn't go against the will of the voters for Bernie, so let me do nothing.

The GOP base have it figured out, just vote. That's really the major key.

I don't know about your area, but Future45 had Texas on LOCK with the ads and misinformation

+1

Then you'll have a group of people complaining and conspiricizing about how celebs are in the gov'ts pockets.

It's a cycle

But you do it the way the SuperPACs do now, most of the donors are anonymous in a sense. You can look up who donates but seriously, nobody looks up the donors of these committees, hell, people don't even know what they really are.

Where does the Democratic party go from here? Who do they push out in 4 years?

The thought of Trump for 8 years :x

Dems are gonna need to either get their **** together FAST or just hold out hope that Trump burns bridges/makes enough internal enemies that it becomes politically damaging to keep him in office over the next 4 years,we're a damn LONG way from that though  :smh:

Feels like the liberal media was also its own enemy by putting no sense of urgency into voters and even the Hillary campaign

Real talk, I don't care if we dominate Lincoln Chafee, we gotta go all in on the next candidate

The bench so thin for the DNC, Cory Booker might need to put the team on his back.

Lawd help us :smh:
