any of you feel that this could be a case of needing to take a big step back to go forward?

or is this just a coping mechanism for me?  :frown:

I just don't see it happening right now when America does things like this its not just a step back its more like running back to 5 feet before the finish line and starting over

Seriously . Funny how the first Black man in office elicits the election of a candidate endorsed by the KKK the next time around...

Guess every action has a reaction, positive or negative :smh:

I'm curious on what the compromise will be by Trump and his crew if they don't bring those manufacturing jobs back to the US.

Does Trump being POTUS mean a good thing for Putin and Xi Jingpin?

GREAT for Putin, maybe less so for Xi given Trumps unpredictability but this might open up a power vacuum in the current global order that he could see being fit for China...

If Trump got elected with a Dem majority, I won't be worried really. Because they would be some good stuff the two can work together on.

It is Trump basically cosigning the entire GOP platfom that has me worried.

I also think all the dirt on Hil did her in, white folks at my job were passionate about Benghazi lmao She got no love from white males. Besides I think some white men were starting to feel the pressure, especially with feminism and PC culture becoming more mainstream. Trump played his cards right and had perfect timing, white men loved Trump because he played that "don't take no ****" alpha male/red pill role perfectly. Which is something all men aspire to be, John Wayne in a damn business suit. Trump was the only way white men could get their nuts back, and they definitely weren't gonna have no woman telling them what to do.

The checks and balances are off for the next 2 years basically...hope son isn't too trigger happy

You're right, folks ate the **** out of that whole cavalier, red blooded American, John Wayne ""my way or the highway" cowboy steez that he presents. That's how he got so much of the white vote imo. Hillary's baggage proved to be way too much for folks to handle

You're right. I can't stand Hillary or all the ****** up **** she's done.

I can't stand Trump either but that's why I voted for the 3rd party.

i doubt it for China since he said he wants to renegotiate trade deals with them

Pretty good article I read up on the subject and how China's power elite were hoping for a Hill win but they still assert that they "can deal with Trump" whatever that entails...

http://foreignpolicy.com/2016/11/07/why-chinese-elites-endorse-hillary-clinton/

Trump’s isolationism and his disregard for multilateral institutions would leave an international power vacuum that Beijing is not ready to fill.

Spot on...

But it wasn't really the educated ones

Judging from exit polls, it was the insecure uneducated ones that weren't ready for a society to leave them in the dust.

So we ever going to see Trump's tax returns?

.

To stop Trump, Dems have to become something that they aren't.

As petulant and intractable as the GOP.

Just filibuster everything, even if that means the government shutting down.

But they won't, and to be honest shouldn't do that.

Like real talk, Cory Booker gotta put the team on his back today. Become 2005 Hillary, be the voice of the left even if some on the left don't want you.

Xi might have free reign in Asia especially in the South China Sea for the time being if Trump is serious about not honoring those defense agreements/commitments with Japan and Korea. I'm sure the Japanese are nervous as hell right now and have already begun to work on nuclear proliferation in the event that the US won't have their back anymore. same with South Korea

The nuclear arms race could be about to be on again..

He won every white demo except college educated white women. There were plenty of educated white men that voted for him.

Also put a post on FB expressing my thoughts and how I'm ashamed of this country and a former co-worker told me I should leave. :smh:

Comments on Michael Moore's to do list?

Morning After To-Do List:
1. Take over the Democratic Party and return it to the people. They have failed us miserably.

2. Fire all pundits, predictors, pollsters and anyone else in the media who had a narrative they wouldn't let go of and refused to listen to or acknowledge what was really going on. Those same bloviators will now tell us we must "heal the divide" and "come together." They will pull more hooey like that out of their *** in the days to come. Turn them off.

3. Any Democratic member of Congress who didn't wake up this morning ready to fight, resist and obstruct in the way Republicans did against President Obama every day for eight full years must step out of the way and let those of us who know the score lead the way in stopping the meanness and the madness that's about to begin.

4. Everyone must stop saying they are "stunned" and "shocked". What you mean to say is that you were in a bubble and weren't paying attention to your fellow Americans and their despair. YEARS of
being neglected by both parties, the anger and the need for revenge against the system only grew. Along came a TV star they liked whose plan was to destroy both parties and tell them all "You're fired!" Trump's victory is no surprise. He was never a joke. Treating him as one only strengthened him. He is both a creature and a creation of the media and the media will never own that.

5. You must say this sentence to everyone you meet today: "HILLARY CLINTON WON THE POPULAR VOTE!" The MAJORITY of our fellow Americans preferred Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump. Period. Fact. If you woke up this morning thinking you live in an effed-up country, you don't. The majority of your fellow Americans wanted Hillary, not Trump. The only reason he's president is because of an arcane, insane 18th-century idea called the Electoral College. Until we change that, we'll continue to have presidents we didn't elect and didn't want. You live in a country where a majority of its citizens have said they believe there's climate change, they believe women should be paid the same as men, they want a debt-free college education, they don't want us invading countries, they want a raise in the minimum wage and they want a single-payer true universal health care system. None of that has changed. We live in a country where the majority agree with the "liberal" position. We just lack the liberal leadership to make that happen (see: #1 above).

Let's try to get this all done by noon today.

its a possibility but i'm not sure if China will do so they can definitely fill a vacuum if America follows Trump's rhetoric but I'm interested in seeing how the other asian countries will respond to greater a possibly greater Chinese influence in the area

it's ironic cause the electoral college was designed to protect us from someone like Trump being elected.

but because we are literal instead of actual reading the intentions of the founding fathers, the electoral college is the reason trump is president.
