There was some dude on here who found out that she was a girl, she tried to keep it on the low that she was a chick, and some dude kept bugging her after she posted on foot pics in the showcase area. I told her to tell a person in charge if he kept bugging her, or simply leave the site. She chose the latter. She had two friends on here, cool dudes that went to her school, Virginia State University, they told mr about how to join, she picked out my name. I kill time messing with you dudes after seeing this section.

Who would yall see as a strong, early kandidate for the Dems in the 2020 elektion? Seeing as how hillary wasnt trusted enough, are there any people you see as relatively trustworthy; bein that all politicians are krooked as reggie millers teeth?

They need to hit back with someone equally as annoying, chubby, and anti-intellectual as Trump. Someone who will get under his skin:

Rosie O'Donnell.

Imagine the debates :wow: Just make them straight up eating contests.

She should make Christie her running mate.

Just profess your admiration for Nike and Kobe and we're cool.
Why do I feel as if I am being vetted for something? Am I in line for a position or something? Clue me in? I have already posted my kicks in the showcase section, that is not enough? As far as Kobe Bryant is concerned, nah', I am not feeling him since he endorsed Trump.

whywesteppin whywesteppin  you a damn foo

IATT IATT i seen my first walking dead episode since shane died (rip) the other day, n that negan (sp?) had a quote that summed up the way trump has treated his naysayers, n eventually his supporters..."I just slid my **** down your throat, n you thanked me for it"

Carrier in Indy, UTEC in Huntington to move units to Mexico, costing 2,100 jobs

http://www.indystar.com/story/money...ndy-unit-mexico-eliminate-1400-jobs/80181804/

Carrier says it has struck a deal with Trump to keep nearly 1,000 jobs in Indiana

The fate of the more than 400 remaining jobs in Indianapolis was not immediately clear. Nor was it clear whether the 700 jobs at the Huntington plan would be saved.

The company planned to send that work to Mexico starting next year, a move that would have saved it $65 million a year in labor costs, according to the union that represents the workers.

Justin Wolfers, a professor of economics at the University of Michigan, commented that the deal could set a troubling precedent.
"Every savvy CEO will now threaten to ship jobs to Mexico, and demand a payment to stay," Wolfers wrote on Twitter, adding "great economic policy."

All that groveling, all the giveaways he gave to Carrier & United Technologies, and he still lost 1000 jobs, and they still have the right to back out.. On top of basically tipping his hand... Idiot

^ Trump and his people are small time. Smigly? Smallly? Tinyhandsly? Bending over for a company to get 5 minutes of positive PR.

United Technologies collects about $5.6 billion in annual revenue from U.S. government contracts, according to company filings, which is equal to about 10% of its overall revenue. The government also pays for nearly $1.5 billion of the company's annual research and development spending.

A master negotiator didn't even use THIS to his leverage...

Granted do I think all those jobs could be saved? No

But you couldn't keep half by threatening to pull all their research money that you give them, and pull all contracts as soon as legally possible, threaten to give them all to competitors, and ban United Tech from receiving a government contract for a decade.

And if they decide to move all those jobs anyway. Not only do you take 10% of their revenue away and give it to a competitor. You tax the hell out of anything they try to do in the US that uses workers in foreign plants

Chevys are pretty damn good in the Indycar series
Too bad Honda took 1 and 2 in the Indy 500
My brother in law was lit seeing his Honda Racing team win that race :pimp:
There is a car thread for this discussion, take it there. You are derailing the Political Thread. Talk about Trump banning your family from coming here. Talk about Hillary bringing all the races together for a kumbaya moment, but do not talk about cars in the political thread.
From the dude who brought his butthurt Castro feelings in here

Another anecdote....

Carrier / United Technologies was moving the 2,100 jobs to save $65mil annually. Since they are keeping a little less than half, they will save about $35mil.

Just promising to cut the corporate tax from 35 to 15% on only the $5.8bil they made in government contracts (only 10% of their total revenue). Their tax bill goes from $1.96bil to $840mil..... Just on that 10% of their revenue

AND YOU COULD ONLY KEEP HALF THE JOBS!?!?! Hell for a 20% corporate rate tax decrease = $1bil saved on only 10% of your revenue, they should have been creating 10,000 jobs on top of keeping all 2,100 in Indiana.

What an idiot

I don't think you can really do that in the defense technology sector especially when their competitors (Boeing, Lockheed and NGC) are actively moving jobs overseas for the same reasons as well as offset obligations. Also, I'm sure UTC offers unique value proposition for their research so it wouldn't be as easy as just replacing them
