I got either Cruz, Kasich or Rubio winning the GOP nomination(Trump dropping out because campaigning is a whole lot more fun than actual work.)
Still think Bernie might pull it off, but the old, white guy thing might hold him back.
I'm convinced that if Warren had run she'd win, but if she's not interested more power to her.
I understand that Hillary is currently leading, prominently, with the black vote.
But she will never address or oppose the insanity of the "war on drugs." She will never address the systematic racism as it pertains to police arresting blacks just because they think minorities deserve discipline, no matter how irrational. And she'll never say a word when it comes to imprisoning young black teens for aggressively lengthy sentences for non-violent crimes.
Bernie would, though.
This is all incorrect information. Sanders has been at the forefront of equality no matter who you are or where you're from since his youth.
It's bizarre that you think that Sanders only just now wandered into the subject of race just because BLM confronted him. Are you even remotely aware of what his past is?
Representative Kevin McCarthy on Thursday abruptly took himself out of the race to succeed John A. Boehner as speaker, apparently undone by the same forces that drove Mr. Boehner to resign.
Mr. McCarthy’s candidacy was damaged when he suggested in an interview on Fox News last week that the House committee investigating Benghazi had the political aim of damaging the campaign of Hillary Clinton.
As shocked members left the room there was a sense of total disarraywith no clear path forward and no set date for a new race. Representative Peter King, Republican of New York, said Mr. McCarthy dropped out of race telling the room “I’m not the one to unify the party.”
A group of about 40 hardline House conservatives announced Wednesday night that they would support Representative Daniel Webster of Florida, making it unclear whether Mr. McCarthy could assemble the 218 votes on the floor that he would need to be elected later this month.
I mean...it's not like the minorities in the Congress are barred from running...they just don't want to lol
