The idea for Republicans is to go further right  Okay?
So where do they go from here boss? Further right in the sense they have to in some way try to appeal to other people besides conservative white males and uncle toms and Aunt Jemima.

Honestly they don't seem to care to move toward the center which they need to do... *Shrugs* hell if I care let them extinguish themselves.

Wow dude, you need to READ. Ninja's not saying any of that.
Where are you getting all this from?
laugh.gif

You keep telling people what they think without comprehending (letters or words).
You are right, I misread Left for right. I made a mistake, my bad.

if da GOP learned anything is you can't make your candidates suck on that HARD right stance and expect to diddy bop to da center

like **** is sweet.

fiscal conservatives are fine, social? chill...da GOP needs to embrace more libertarian views, THAT is what got their youth excited.

if romney would've asked ron paul or his son to be da VP they would've been WAY BETTER OFF.

WAIT, so your saying that Republicans will next time put somebody even more conservative as their rep next time, even after seeing that the minoritys hold SO much VOTING POWER AND DECICEDED THE LAST TWO TERMS OF THE PRESIDENT? Your not understanding economics. They tried extreme left wing John and Palin, failed, they tried mr mormon, and it failed. If these two terms have taught us anything, its that America wants somebody they feel appeals to EVERYBODY. Can't nobody relate to romney or mccain or palin.

libertarians are FISCALLY conservative and SOCIALLY liberal

da liberal issues on da GOP is a big heavy ball and chain.

being freed from evangelicals would do that party WONDERS.

NO. Competion is needed for balance. The Democratic party doesn't have all the answers boss. We as a country just needs to work on better incorating both sides.

Yall need to stop acting like we dont have extremist Democrats.

Ron Paul on abortion:
“I am strongly pro-life. I think one of the most disastrous rulings of this century was Roe versus Wade. I do believe in the slippery slope theory. I believe that if people are careless and casual about life at the beginning of life, we will be careless and casual about life at the end. Abortion leads to euthanasia. I believe that.”

Ron Paul on gay marriage:
He's against it.

You must not know the world.

You're right, I don't.

Not disagreeing or agreeing... But how would this HELP us?

Open borders would significantly help out the economy. Granted, there are a few things that need to be handled like the tax code, the current State and Federal Labor laws, and these so called "Free Trade" agreements.

Immigrants are vital on all skill levels. I had this patient. He's 16 years old, he's Mexican and without papers (he's on a visa of some sort). He speaks english well and is really bright. His step father owns a maintenance company where they cut grass, grind stumps, and pretty much anything that has to do with aesthetics for home or offices. He plans on taking over the company when he is finished with school, but he can't because he doesn't have the proper documentation, by of which he's been working for since he has been in this country since about 12 years old. He's a tax-payer, so what would be the difference if he was a citizen or not? Because of this governments policies, this future entrepanuer who will be an employer with employees and providing them with work has hit a road block. Now, how many people are in his same position?

This can be said about any profession at any skill level. This country was built on slaves and immigrants who never had papers. The whole "citizenship" BS is nothing more than increasing their tax jurisdiction or increasing union participation.

Tea-Party members and Right-Wing nuts are actually saying this. They're calling Mitt Romney a North-Eastern Liberal now.

I'll tell you one thing tho, the majority of the conservative's will be becoming more socially moderate.

Because at the end of the day, the far-right lunatics and tea-party members will vote Republican regardless.

That''s just it though, I don't think they have learned anything, and if they have it truly remains to be seen.  As if stands, the Republican party has been taken over by the extremists, if and once they let the extremists go then we'll see how and what the Republican party looks like.  Until then, it will remain the party of just a bunch of old white people, nothing wrong with old white people but they have no diversity amongst themselves.  Which is why they can't attract a better crowd.

old white men =/= neo cons

da governor of texas got FRIED in da primaries because he believed in amnesty for illegal immigrants

da 1st bush was moderate as well and was friendly to immigration.

so it can happen. hell Nixon in this climate is a damn liberal.

da neo cons and evangelicals have poisoned da well at da right.

They'll lose most of the moderate or liberal republicans before that happens...

The party leadership in the house already said we don't have a Tea Party caucus in the house to speak of... Which means, he either doesn't know there is one and he's intensely stupid, or he is going to ignore it.

Yeah boss, that sounds good and all, but without regulation and OPEN BORDERS, WE WOULD TAKE THE GOOD WITH THE BAD. You want Rey Mysterios running around loosely in America committing crime or people coming into our country abusing our system and MAKING YOU PAY MORE TAXES TO COVER THEIR ABUSE? I don't think so man. Regulation is what matters. I'm all for helping those already here with NO CRIMINAL record, but to make our country borders open, is not something I'm for. We already have enough domestic issues.

You're more likely to get killed by your neighbor than you are an immigrant.

They won't lose moderate/liberal republicans if they elect a more progressive Republican candidate next election.

Obama won but this still isn't one party nation.

Republicans still only lost the election by 2%. They're not that far behind, they just need to catch up.

Obama called Boehner and McDonnell on Election Night to discuss the Fiscal Cliff and working together, he was told they were sleeping...

The disrespect :smh:

They won't that's the problem.. I agree they could cure all by moving toward the center, and being a center right party with common sense and dignity.. But they probably will not do that in the next 4 years.

LOL. You do understand what the word OPEN means? DO I NEED TO POINT TO YOU ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED WITH THE CUBAN BOAT LIFT? DO YOU WANT NUMBERS IN HOW HIGH THE CRIME RATE AND DRUG PROBLEMS ROSE WHEN WE OPENED FLORIDA TO CUBA? Come on man, we have so many issues here already, adding more people here FREELY will make things worst. You can't honestly defend that bro. So many factors as to why we have border patrol. Forget mexicans and canadians and cubans, YOU WOULD HAVE PEOPLE FROM ANY NEAR BY PLACES TO MEXICO OR CANADA dropping by into AMERICA.

YOU KNOW LIKE

RUSSIANS

CENTERAL AMERICANS

CARRIBIEANS

TERRORISTS!!

Come on man. You can't be that misinformed. Why don't you just leave your front door open so anyone can come in your house and share your TV and food?

AP: House Speaker Boehner says any deal to avert 'fiscal cliff' should include lower tax rates, revising the tax code

This party is not serious about anything
