***Official Political Discussion Thread***

Andbody catch the debate last night? At this point, after watching the first 2, I already have an idea where the GOP candidates stand, no point in continuing to give them coverage and a platform to further pollute the minds of Americans

Felt this way after the first one, haven't tuned in since.

Didn't watch the debate but saw news reports/"highlights", which basically consisted of them slamming each other and getting all over the moderator.

What questions was the moderator asking to get the choppa called on him?

I've tried watching the other debates, in a nutshell its "my opponent xxxx wants to/does/says he will do this" "on my first day in office I'm going to balance the budget/fix tax codes/erase racism/secure the borders/defeat ISIS/give every American a job". Throw in some cheap laughs or cheap shots and expand it to 5 hours.

Somebody give cliffs on Hilarys platform that makes you want to vote for her?

She'll be the first woman president. If you don't vote for her, you're a misogynist and Bill will be the first First Man. Wouldn't that be like, so cool?!

 It's shaping up to look this way, she's always in the news whether it be good or bad and people associate always seeing her face and her last name and vote off the strength, the same w/ Trump on the GOP side.

Cats don't realize how strong the media is w/ it's subliminal messaging.

The bengazi stuff was always overblown but it's still not okay that the administration kept saying it was a spontaneous attack/protest because of a youtube video when they knew it was a planned terrorist attack.

True. Just like the Democrat debate when the media was saying she did great and was pulling ahead even when the poll numbers showed Bernie winning by a landslide.

What was funny was when someone at the Today Show town hall asked her if she would consider a female VP, she said their qualifications, not gender would matter and then proceeded to say why she should be the first woman president.

Thought I was the only one who noticed that and they followed it up w/ Bernie being a Socialist and not showing the clip of him explaining Democratic Socialism. It sucks that he's a straight shooter because he isn't trying to push the whole media thing to get out there the way he should.

She will be running against a Republican.

This really is major.

The GOP controlled the entire national government for six years and it was a disaster.

Since when they party has moved even more right, and gotten more loony.

Hillary as president would hopefully be able to insure that the GOP can't cause the same type of havoc

I dont do the whole politics thing but all these candidates just seem terrible to me. Bernie seems to be the only one who makes sense/ the lesser evil. As a Black man I know he cant and wont do anything for me, but Hilary just seems wild shady and will sell her self to the highest bidder and the GOP Is just a circus.

Why does Ben Carson always close his eyes when he speaks?

Isn't that a sign of a deceitful person?

It's a way for someone to recall information. It's when someone is looking up and to the right that they're employing the creative part of their brain.

At the end of the day I don't care where Ben Carson is or isn't looking.  He's got some questionable stances/beliefs regardless.

Anyone else notice that dude just loves to talk about Nazi Germany. Like it is almost a fetish of his

So for all the people voting for Bernie, are yall cool with him raising taxes significantly on higher incomes but also raising them on everyone?
