I swear, I might defend Obama a lot, but the progressive left is absolutely right about him fumbling the financial crisis.

He should have nationalized the banks, and charged every single banker he could, and try to give them long time. Put their heads on figurative pikes for the next generation.

Even if Holder couldn't get convictions, set the precedent. And he should have unleashed Lizzy Warren on them full time.

If anyone wants to know where our next recession is gonna come from, 50/50 shot it is from foolishness on Wall Street.

The sooner the Democrats stops considering the needs of the financial industry so much, the better.

The stock market is not the economy.

It is poppin though [emoji]128064[/emoji]

And it does little to solve the structural issues in the actual economy.

Solving the structural issues of this Black man's networth *kanyeshrug*

The stock market is not the economy.

The stock market is widely regarded as an indicator for the outlook of the economy.

But either way, Trump got the streets boomin.

No it is not.

It is just highly correlated the health of the economy.

The stock market it a random walk, you can't really use to to predict the health of the overall economy.

Generally if the economy is doing good, then so will the stock market, if the economy is doing bad, so will the stock market. It really doesn't work well in the opposite direction

You're putting the carriage before the horse.

Also, the bottom 25% of our country is pretty much doomed to a life of poverty, wealth continues to be extracted from the middle class to the top 1%, and Trump is about to putting those forces into overdrive.

I don't give a **** about him driving speculators on Wall Street nuts.
