Comey confirms the investigation about Russian interference is on and they are looking at whether anyone from trump's team was a part of it. He says the details remain classified for now.
So this will drag on but will be a rain cloud over trump for months or years and could put some of his buddies in jail eventually.

The republicans on the committee are trying to attack this whole situation from the angle of illegitimate reporting by the press. They seem more worried about the process of unveiling the dirt than the dirt that has been brought to light.

Gowdy Refuses to Investigate Who on Select Committee Leaked Inaccurate Info to Press
Jul 6, 2015 Press Release
WASHINGTON—Today, Select Committee on Benghazi Chairman Trey Gowdy sent a letter to Ranking Member Elijah Cummings responding to a letter Cummings sent this morning warning that someone who was given access to the Select Committee’s documents appears to have leaked doctored, inaccurate information to the press in order to make unsubstantiated allegations against Secretary Clinton.
Here are highlights from Chairman Gowdy’s letter:
Chairman Gowdy never denies the inaccurate leak occurred.
Chairman Gowdy never condemns the leaking of inaccurate information.
Chairman Gowdy never says he will investigate who leaked the information.
Chairman Gowdy claims Cummings provided no “proof of fact” – even though the American public now has the emails that prove it. Copies of the accurate versions of those publicly released emails are linked here and here.
Chairman Gowdy explained in his letter that he intends to “remain focused on discharging the mission given to us by the House of Representatives.” Yet, the Select Committee waited more than six months to send a request for new documents to the State Department and nearly a year to send new document requests to the Pentagon and the CIA. The Committee has spent more than $3.7 million in taxpayer funds in the more than a year that it has operated, and in that time it has yet to interview a single witness from the Department of Defense. The Committee has also not held a single hearing in 22 weeks, despite the Chairman’s assertion that there would be public hearings on a monthly basis.

The hearing was a waste of time. Weve known obeezy didnt tap the weave wearing President and this investigation into Russia will take years....
Rep. Pete Sessions (R-Texas) told boisterous crowd of thousands at a town hall meeting Saturday that they didn’t “know how to listen.”
"I understand why you're so frustrated. You don't know how to listen,” Sessions told the crowd protesting the GOP bill to repeal and replace ObamaCare, according to Dallas News.
Thousands of North Texans packed into Richardson High School, the paper reported, asking Sessions to stop the Republicans' Affordable Health Care Act (AHCA).
But Sessions defended the plan, which led the crowd to chant, “Do your job!” and, “Vote him out!”
"We're going to make the changes. We're going to pass the bill and we're going to repeal ObamaCare," said Sessions, who promised the GOP measure provides a more affordable path going forward.
Sessions also faced backlash from crowd members who want Congress to investigate Russia’s possible interference in the 2016 election, and to fight against President Trump’s recent budget proposal.
"Pete must go!” and “Answer the question!” rang out from the riled-up crowd regularly.
Sessions, in response to the angry crowd, said the vitriol from town halls will push lawmakers to end the open meetings.
“It is obvious to me that if we continue this, no member of Congress will want to meet with people,” he added, inspiring a louder rise in the crowd’s booing.
Angry constituents at town hall meetings have confronted Republican politicians across the county recently. Some avoided meeting their constituents face to face during the last recess by holding teleconferencing meetings or not hosting events at all.
The controversial repeal-and-replace plan will be voted on this Thursday. Many Republicans from both chambers denounced the bill for various reasons, with some saying it doesn’t go far enough to repeal ObamaCare and others saying it’s being rushed to the floor.
