The investigation during which the Trump communications were picked up was not on the Russia probe. It doesn't invalidate the evidence of Russian involvement. Furthermore, the stuff they picked up on and about the transition team must have been relevant to the Russia probe, which could explain how the names of US persons were unmasked IF they were the source of all the stuff we know about the transition team and its foreign contacts.

He couldn't prove that Obama ordered the wiretappings, he said everything done was legal, and now he has senators including some from the GOP calling for an independent investigation. Something rots in the White House.

EVERYONE hates the plan ,even the big hitters on the right like the Koch bros, Heritage foundation etc. For varying reasons on both sides of course but the bill is pretty much toxic politically at this point

Something like this was in plain sight before the elections... he actively asked Russia to hack more emails. The ties were there, yet he was still elected by people claiming a man tied to Russia was a true American. I'm not optimistic about any of this having any real affect. The GOP does not care.

I really doubt that Trump and his cronies are competent and smart enough to get off scot free on this whole thing tbh

Might take the end of a GOP majority in Congress to seriously accelerate the process but I find it hard to believe nothing's gonna come out of all these connections and "coincidences"

We most likely won't know much until the process is near it's end and they've finished digging
