Well technically he is in Anaheim I guess, even though they call themselves the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim or something like that right? Why the hell do they do that anyways?


Less than 12 hours until game time, this feels like an NFL playoff game with this one game win or go home format.

Can't wait until the game today, but the more I think about it the more scarred I am of Darvish. We got housed by Shields. Darvish also had a great Sept & we haven't faced him yet.

Anyone see this prank that Jim Johnson & Buck played on Darren O'Day? The look on O'Day's face as Buck was going off was priceless....I've always said Buck sounds like Billy Bob Thorton when he speaks, maybe he can get some acting gigs too...

:smokin Just got back home from the Harbor after watching the game. Man, Saunders was everything I hoped/thought, he allows hits/runners but spreads them out and always gets that DP ball.

Great scrappy win. Sucks for Texas, I like Hamilton and Ron Washington, but there is no other team I would like to see the O's face.....but the Yanks.


Payback for Jeffrey Maier and 16 or so years ago!



If my girl wasn't tired, I would be out celebrating some more in the city. She tried to catch an attitude before the game at dinner and I told her nothing would keep me from watching this game. She could have walked home for all I care.

I know that's right. Who better to play in the O's first postseason series than the Yankees. The team that pretty much ripped the heart out of the last Orioles contender.

It was just good to be out and about yesterday and see folks sporting Orioles hats, shirts, jerseys. I was at Cirque du Solei and saw people repping the O's preparing to head right to the Harbor to watch the W. First time since I've been of legal age, that people were actually paying attention to an Orioles game at the bar.


If the O's beat the Yankees, I'm buying the whole bar a round.
 
had a chance to watch game 1-2 at Baltimore just have to make the flight there courtesy of CC. its too last minute and had work.
 
Hopefully this crappy weather eases up before this evening.....I know the Skins field is going to be rough, I hope Camden Yards is looking good.
 
WBAL's weather folks say the rain should end in time for the O's game. Their weather forecasting is spot on & the best in Baltimore. Can't wait for this game to start....
 
Hopefully the Yanks will make short work of you guys. The Yanks will win game 1,3,and4.

Ha, ha, ha love the Yankee fans. Look, you guys had a scrappy team but their definitely beatable this year. I honestly can't make a prediction with this series...
 
Welp, I am def rooting for you guys now. Hope by the time the season is done, all the O's fans are celebrating in the streets.

Looks like Rays are picking up the $10.25 million option on pitcher Jim Shields. Smart move on their part. I was dreaming of him coming to the O's as a our stud #1...Oh well. Not sure I want them pursuing Greinke, plus I think the Angels will pay the dough to keep him...

We're not going to be able to repeat the way we won last year so the O's are going to have to work hard off season to come back with even better games/skills than last year. Looking forward to seeing the pitching staff mature & Manny's game evolve....
 
Adam Jones already started working out. Winning is contagious. These dudes are flat out HUNGRY.

Congrats to Wiets & JJ. Still want JJ gone tho. :lol:

They declined his option, but he remains "arbitration elgible." Whatever that means, but he was a fan favorite and they should attempt to bring him back. His fielding saved the O's on many double plays and poor throws.


JJ had a .998 fielding percentage or something like that. Never would have known that from watching the playoffs though. Nerves got him.
