Was Daffy Duck supposed to be a black man

I was recently watching Looney Tunes and I saw an episode where he and Buggz are supposed to receive awards and every time he went out he got snubbed bowed and heckled and it kinda hit me Daffy was black.Another episode i recall he was being hunted and towards the end he begged Elmer Fudd for his life and Elmer fudd eventually gave in and left .and Daffy out of nowhere said we sho showed him in a stereotypical manner and he had a bunch of kid ducks pop out of nowhere and started laughing.
 
was jadakiss suppose to be as hard as it gets???

in all seriousness tho it might be true
