T-Mac Thank You Letter to the NBA

That t-mac forever vid did something to me. Always sad to see those players who were the cornerstones of the league have to move on. A.I. and T-Mac were everything to me growing up. Tracy Mcgrady is a one of the best to ever do it. In my opinion he's a shoe in for the hall of fame. Chris Mullin for example, made the hall of fame and had no rings, was a 5 time all star with a 18 point per game avg.  And shoutout Kobe, nash, etc for being the last ones standing.

I should be thanking him for allowing me to see him play. Awesome, exciting come to mind. I hate it didn't happen for him with the Bulls the first time around.

sucks he's gone. him, AI, and Kobe in a few years. that generation done.

He is going to be in the hall of fame one day or another.

2 NBA scoring champion
7 time all-star
2 All NBA first team
3 All NBA second team
2 All NBA third team
1 Most improved Award

Plus some records in Orlando :

Most points in one game with 62 (March 10, 2004 vs. Washington Wizards)
Most points in one half with 37 in the first half (March 9, 2003 vs. Denver Nuggets)
Most points in one quarter with 25 in the second quarter (March 9, 2003 vs. Denver Nuggets)
Most points in a playoff game with 46 (Tied, Dwight Howard; in Game 2 of the 2003 Eastern Conference playoffs, First Round vs. Detroit Pistons)
Most three-point field goals made in one half with 8 (January 26, 2004 vs. Cleveland Cavaliers)

Most definitly, the impact he had on the basketball world in his best years.

McGrady man I bet I still have his Orlando jersey in the garage. Excellent player

Its really quite sad to see the players we idolized retire. AI, now TMac.

Such a great player early 2000... Especially with the Magic, the dude was one of the top players in the league. Was so much fun to watch him play, could score at will. Sad to see him go, but also glad to see him be quite accepting to the next stage in his life.

Also, hilarious that there is no shout out to Vince. First thing I noticed in his letter.

Tough but we are going to see more of these in the next few years, and will be difficult for us people who are getting "older". TMac's career is definitely appreciated.

From A.I...To Tmac...To ray allen soon, Steve Nash soon...KG soon...Paul Pierce soon...and then the don dodda...Kobe |I

Everyone and they moms had the Mcgrady Magic Swingmans back in day. My boy still rocks his to this day :smokin

I rocked them T-Mac's in middle school whether they matched what I was wearing or not  :pimp:

I hated dude when he went to the rockets & started flexing against My Mavs doeee. Great ball player, crazy how injuries can truly kill your career.

Damn, sad day. Tmac was that dude.

One of the smoothest players on court - So versatile in the scoring category. Had the mad handlez in 7th grade :pimp:

The dunk on Bradley :x - Many thanks for all the seasons.

how did VC outlast him? i always thought he would bring something to the table. when he was in Detroit he was playing point and his jumper was still kinda smooth still.
he may not explode like he used or as much but he still can and more importantly, hes still relatively healthy

his athleticism at this point is still probably better than 80-90 percent of the league
