Not sure if she's been posted in here already, but I gave Rochelle Jordan a listen for the first time yesterday, and liked what I heard.

She's opening up for Jessie Ware when I see her next week, so I decided to give her a try.

Yo Mr Brown, love Jose James. He's nice live...I've posted him on some early pages in this thread & in the jazz thread several times. Love the AllSaints Basement show you posted. This might be my favorite song from that show...The trumpet player in James' band is Takuya Kuroda (page 27 in the jazz thread)...He's a Japanese ex-pat living in New York now. His album should be coming out soon...

Also posted his label mate (Blue Note) Robert Glasper interviewing him...

Just found this performance on YouTube...James has a nice band. In addition to Kuroda on trumpet, he's got a very talented bassist in Solomon Dorsey...

Was watching this vid from Jesse Boykins III and randomly noticed Sinorice Moss (Santana Moss's lil bro) who used to play for Miami, guess ball didn't work out and apparently he's an actor now

I never really gave Jesse Boykins III a chance. That track up there isn't bad at all so now would be a good time to start.
