The poll at the top is funny to me.


Go to any gaming site and Trevor is unanimously the favorite character. As he should be as he has the best setting, best side-missions and the best properties to buy (IMO). I mean set aside the fact that he's inbred white trash for a moment and you'll realize he's the funnest character and by far the most entertaining/comedic.

I mean I get it, I want Franklin to be that dude but his story is weak, his side missions are weak, his ex-girl played the **** out of him and didn't even make a follow up cameo after that favor she asks for near the endgame. She just kind of abruptly shows up after being a no show all game and spits her hypocritical psycho babble and disappears.

Other than that Frank is the token black guy here. He's of little importance in the game story-wise. The game really centers around Michael and Trevor.



Here's hoping that future DLC adds more depth to Franklin's character but as it stands he's quite possibly the blandest playable character in all of GTA history. If not for the dope crib they lace him with and Lamar adding some comedy to their situations he's really just whatever.

The more I look at it, they could of done without Franklin and the game would just be as good. I was really disappointed at how his character and story developed. Maybe because they didn't involve the gangs as much but he even didn't put it down for his set.
 
I'm in full agreement with you guys, Franklin's character suffered from a much weaker story than the other two. I wanted frank to be CJ pt 2, but I was disappointed in his his story developed.

That being said I am glad they included him. He is fun to play as and his missions like the one where he saves Lamar were really fun. He as a character is a good concept, but his story was much less interesting than the other two.


Trevor is one of the best characters in video game history.
 
I'm the complete opposite. I only use Franklin since I've beaten the game. I despise the other two. Refuse to use them.
 
Yeah i always wonder why the poll shows Franklin as THAT dude....from the jump I fell in live with Trevor, dude was straight laughs.

Franklin is cool to drive around with and because of his crib, Michael I like because of the depth of his character and how deals with his fam....he's that good guy/bad guy in the movies, trying desperately to clean up....Franklin really did come off as the token black guy.
 
Nah frank is that dude. Trevors a psycho. I dont enjoy his redic rage furies. Much rather kill em the ol fashioned way n real time then flee the scene like OJ n the bronco

Driving suped up supercars with frank > anything else this game had to offer

That said I dunno what ppl in here are talking about, Franklin grew up in the story. He wanted out of the hood and who can blame him? He got a nice house in the hills, money, and rolled with folks who were there for him. He got his escape. Showed maturity when Michael and Trevor bickered.
 
Trevor was the best story wise but I used Franklin a lot for his power up. The slo mo driving was perfect, I'd love that online.
 
I'm trying to make a come up on GTA Online. What some quick schemes? I'm only level 4. lol
 
Man online took a dagger to the heart with that failed weekend event....

Wishing they brought this over to next gen consoles...
