NOT looks/ resemblance wise, I'm referring to reputation, personal attributes, persona etc...

Lil Wayne= Kobe: they've both been mastering their craft professionally for literally half their lives. Regarded by many as the best, with a legion of haters to disagree.

Drake= Bron: versatile like no other with great things in store for his career. Both need to clear room on the mantle for plaques and awards.

2 chainz= j.r. Smith: not fundamentally sound, but typically very entertaining. Every now and then they'll slip up and do something right.

Pusha T= Monte Ellis: every now and then they'll show glimpses of greatness then fall into obscurity :smh: enough fire power to hang with the big boys, but just can't seem to obtain mainstream popularity; you've got to be more than a casual fan to appreciate their gift.

Add your own, you can use any sport, I'm just a big Nba fan.

I agree with the 2 chainz JR Smith comparison the most, but...

Kobe actually is a master of his craft, even most of his haters will admit his skill is undeniable. I don't think you can say that about Wayne. If I had to pick a NBA style that would match Wayne it would be some big man that doesn't really have much fundamental "skill" but puts up monster numbers anyway due to size/athleticism.

And I'm trying to think of a comparison but this is harder than I thought :lol:

The thing about this one is that Kobe legitimately worked hard to be great, and there's tangible evidence to show that. Wayne has had more garbage than anything. When someone talks about how great Kobe is, there's no "go to game" people immediately flock to, they can pick any game. But for Wayne it's "Hustler Music", "Tha Mobb", and Dedication, songs/tapes that aren't nearly as good as his fans think.

Fabolous = Lamar Odom

Tons of talent and puts up great numbers (bars) and never really put it all together in terms of where they should be in relation to their talent level (albums). However they've still manage to be successful despite never truly reaching their potential (Fab has multiple gold and platinum plaques, Lamar has two rings).

Jadakiss= TMac

Who's Brian Scalabrine?

Scalabrine= Lil B: for obvious reasons. Most people don't feel they should be at that level and most of their "fans" follow them as a joke.

That Fab/LO joint is on point :lol:

Nelly= Steve Francis: EXTREMELY popular and had the airwaves on LOCK with hits/ highlights, but ran out of juice so soon and stared producing garbage :smh:

Kanye= Dwade: Chi-Town raised undisputed Champion. Relentless BEAST when his back is against the wall.

Roscoe Dash= Nick Young: STRONG in their forte (hooks/ clutch 3s) buy virtually invisible anywhere else).

AI=TI: both pack a surprising amount of power in such an unassuming package. Cocky and confident, achieved greatness, but trouble keeps knocking on their door.

Eminem= Steve Nash: achieved undeniable greatness despite being in a business that's dominated by another race. Solid performance year end year out and definitely one of the greats.

So it sounds like yall are saying Wayne= Vince Carter then :lol:

Hmmmmmmm.....well, rather Vince than Kobe :lol: I was trying to think of an NBA player that I hate who also sucks that I could compare him too, but I can't. Fab/Odom is spot on, as is Eminem & Nash. Wade and Kanye is a pretty good one too, cause both are great at what they do, but are also *******.

Paul Pierce = Kendrick Lamar

Both are influence to others, Both can do damage when needed to, Both are Cali raised :smokin

I've been trying to place someone with Paul Pierce all day :lol: I'd say Pierce= Beanie seagle (sp?) Both have been in the game for a minute and are both solid but not very popular or marketable. Both have at least one shining moment under their belt.

this one is spot on

Nas = LeBron came in the game at a young age and ran **** from day 1

Jay-z = Kobe want to be the best really badly, not good enough

LIl Wayne= shaq Put up incredible numbers and never reached potential
Ace hood = wade flopping

Kobe (rapper) = Percy Miller (basketball) should have stuck to what they know
