Kobe actually is a master of his craft, even most of his haters will admit his skill is undeniable. I don't think you can say that about Wayne. If I had to pick a NBA style that would match Wayne it would be some big man that doesn't really have much fundamental "skill" but puts up monster numbers anyway due to size/athleticism.
And I'm trying to think of a comparison but this is harder than I thought

T.I= joe johnson very good but just cant get over that hump to make em great and gets good contracts (tv shows, hit songs) because of previous success. Hate t.i. and joe is one of my favorite players but still cant deny it joe should be a mega beast with his size and skills and ti should be makin better music cuz of his talents

dom kennedy = jason terry they both jus kinda of nice with it

camron= t-mac

juelz santana= stephon curry (this is if he keeps hurting them ankles he wont reach his potential like santana)

french montana = blake griffin both broke out into there games full steem ahead but still need some fixing on there craft but both get you hype (dunks and punchlines)
 
I wanna call BIG = MJ, and Hov = Kobe for obvious reasons.
But longevity considered, I guess ya'll are right.

- Len Bias=Big L: We got to see the beginning of what should have been an epic career. Right before they were supposed to join a dynasty (Roc/Celtics) they pased away.

- Tupac=Grant Hill: They were the best in the primes of their careers. Were both intelligent black men who broke the mold in their respective careers. In the prime of their careers things ended (ankle in the playoffs/shooting death), but years later their careers still go on, but not on the same level.
