Dairy cow and newborn calf separated

This is in French but pretty self explanatory.

The calf is a day old and separated from its mom, who only produces milk that is sold for human consumption. Even in places like France and India, they can't even let the calves feed from their mom because of human demand.

If the calf is a male it is killed quickly for veal and such. If it's a heifer it will produce milk for 5 years until it becomes hamburger meat.

Conclusion: The life of a cow sucks. Would not want to be reincarnated as one.

This is like common knowledge, when we are reincarnated, never ever do you want to be back as some form of cattle. A cock or some sort of bird might be ideal. Perhaps a rare sea creature so you could live the rest of your life in solitude under the sea...if you built up enough good karma in your previous life.

Probably a cow..... think about it, as an ant there are probably trillions of ants around. You could be any where, in the forest, an abandon building, out in the country side, etc. Sure you could get unlucky and be in like a industrial processed foods plant.... but still I'll take the odds of being an ant. If you're a cow, your soul purpose in life is to procreate, make milk, and get slaughtered for sustenance. Even if you were a 'wild' cow, if you're found out in the wild? Chances are the indigenous humans are going to take you in and eventually eat you. I guess what it comes down to, is that as an ant your chances of being left alone and not killed are much higher than a cow's.

This is honestly one of the things that is making want to go into a vegetarian state of mind. Straight sad man.
 
idk why people get sad, at the end of the day its an animal. we should respect them but we are on top of the food chain and we needa eat
