What is wrong with Juelz Santana career.

Thinking of this makes me respect my man's jimmy way more. Even today son still working, putting out projects, linking with young unsigned talent (was with some local dudes from my city kicking it) and he wasn't even supposed to be the rapper. Jimmy a ny legend b, my favorite d... well only dipset member I rock wit.

Dude was overrated from the jump, riding the coattails of Wayne, and gassed to no end because SOME east coasters boost anyone from their city regardless of the music. @tyisny

umm Wayne was using Juelz, not da other way around... especially back then.

 at the idea of Juelz having anything to offer Wayne in his prime outside of a friendship.

u must've forgot Human Crack in da flesh Juelz Santana Preceded any Hype lil Wayne had... Wayne was da one soaking up dipset game, not da other way around.

Wayne got his whole attitude and style (dressing and acting like them) from Santana and Jim Jones. That's a fact. It was a obvious difference in Wayne once he started hanging with them.

The irony is that if he was from the south he would be hyped up. Where as nobody ever said Juelz was on Fab or Banks level.

Like I've said before when the self proclaimed Greatest Rapper Alive and him were doing an album, nobody ever said why is Wayne doing an album with him? Yet, now dudes want to re-write history and one is a so called GOAT and the other was overhyped.

Yep, a whole lot of ****** irony.

Y'all gotta turn everything into East vs South. People call Young Dro a disappointment too. This has nothing to do with region.

Smh why u remind me about dro man. Talk about dropping the ball..

I'm not saying Wayne didn't eat off dipset as a whole's plate, just like he ate off The Clipse... doesn't take away from the fact the only reason Juelz was half way relevant outside of NYC was because of the Wayne affiliation.

 nah b. Dipset were gods in da east coast for mannny years with zero Lil Wayne influence whatsoever...i remember hearing they were HUGE in Chicago too.

 at thinking Wayne was the reason Juelz was poppin. Wayne wanted to be down with the dips so bad in that era.

And if you don't believe me, then explain this:

Classic track btw

^ def not the worst **** ive heard.

the spark aint there tho. nothing special/worth my time there.

a while back, i saw ju in some vid and he couldnt do a 2 step without dabbin n ****. knew from that point it was a wrap.

I'm rooting for Juelz but the new track is trash. I'd be surprised if he catches a buzz.

I'm thinking his studio getting raided had a lot to do with hurting his career, but then again he was inactive 5 years prior.

Def Jam is to blame for some, because of the constant leadership changes and mismanagement. They barely wanted to put out Jeezy who was selling, because they didn't feel he had the same buzz.

IMO, the studio had a lot to do with it. He had the studio in Bergenfield where I used to live and everytime I happen to drive by, he always there. He probably lost albums worth of tracks for all we know and that alone killed his motivation.

Man that ***** wasn't making music before the studio thing. He... like dro, got a lil paper and got comfortable. Give a lazy dude some money this is what happens. Sad what happened to them dipset dudes, now the whole A team is on love and hip hop. I saw cam was on there on my ig smh, hell rell and the b squad might as well sign up for bad Girls club.

It's crazy that him and Wayne were neck to neck buzz right before the Carter 2 and what the game been missing dropped.

Hell he is only 34 :wow:. He has wasted the prime of his career just sitting around. Hes now a supporting player to his BM storyline on Love and hip hop

It's cute how you keep trying to blur the lines and talk Dipset as a whole when we talking about Juelz.

What the game's been missing dropped 05', from there moving forward the only reason he wasn't a Milk Carton rapper earlier was because the I Can't Feel My Face tape and Wayne stans on their knees hoping for that album that never came

Dude just another throw away one trick pony rapper like the other bums in Dipset; JR Writer, 40 Cal, Hell Rell etc.
