Just heard on 95.7 that it's official with Pagan pending physical and that the Giants are also trying to sign the Giants killer Scott Hairston to platoon him with Blanco in LF. Dude definitely has shown he has some power at AT&T.

Yrs not great but given the $5m signing bonus the money isnt bad. If he sucks in the last year or so he'll get the Rowand / Huff treatment.

Cannot imagine signing Scutaro for more than 2 yrs.

I'm not trying to sign a 37 yr old for 3 yrs.

Not that I'd expect to keep making awesome trade deadline moves, but there will be IF available if we need them. I'm fine with that route.
