Official 2023 San Francisco Giants Off-Season Thread - Jung Hoo Lee signs with SF 6-years $113 Million

Who is Justin Sellers? Seriously. I like to think of myself as someone who is fair share of knowledge when it comes to Major League Baseball....and I have never heard of this guy. Where's Dee Gordon?

Pretty much the last hitter Bumgarner is going to face.

Marvelous outing for that kid.

Great win the Giants tonight.

Bumgarner dominated...Arias has a future at first base...maybe not.

Back to back solid starting pitching. Looks like our staff will be doing their usual thing this year.

Lets go G-men. :smokin

it's professional sports and you never know what will happen. look at timmy. not to mention our staff has had to pitch a big load of extra innings 2 out of the last 3 years.

Decent glove, no bat. On and off the roster, what you would call the perfect "4A" player. Too good for Triple A, not good enough for the show.

Gordon has a one way ticket to bust town. Can't hit, and is basically Mr. Glass. Hanley getting hurt is going to... Hurt.

I'm even open to starting Uribe at third.

I know all about AAAA players, specifically bats. The Giants have had more AAAA hitters come through our organization in the last decade+ than players who actually turned out. If he wasnt a Dodger, I'd feel bad for the kid for yesterday......granted, it was 100% Belisario's fault that the 3rd run scored.

Madison Bumgarner looked really good last night. What was his average fastball? He was definitely tired down the stretch and his mechanics were out of whack last year. Offense still needs to pick it up, they got a lot of hits last night, but not a lot of runs. With the offense struggling, the batting platoon of Torres/Blanco is going to scream loudly and not in a good way.

In regards to timmy, you had to know that guy was a ticking time bomb with his delivery.

i want to say he sat at 90,91

I mean what is Timmy's issue really? Dude was filthy in the playoffs and he's been hitting up to 94mph in spring training. Is it his command? Not being able to get his fast ball consistantly over the plate for a strike is a huge problem. Seems like he doesn't know where his pitches are going. I really believe a huge part of the problem is mental,
