I can't find it but Keith Law predicted this years ago in an article, Lincecum's lack of command will result in him being a career bullpen guy. It's looking more and more like Law was right. And if it does end up that way, Timmy was a fool for not accepting the contract offer last year. He may not see that offer again.

Nice win. Awesome to beat the Bums the opening series of the year in their park. Timmy's control was just god awful. Glad he got the win though. This season, if Timmy gives up 4 or less runs, I'll take it. Sad its come to that, but it is what it is.
Going back to the beginning of the game about the Sanchez passed ball.......i wholeheartedly disagree with whoever was arguing that it was on Timmy. That ball was easily blockable. Straight fastball....no crazy spin....ball bounced in front of Hector by no more that five inches....that ball HAS to be blocked. 100 times out of 100. Sanchez made no attempt to block it. He made some halfassed effort to scoop it. Terrible mechanics. If that was my catcher, I would be irrate! Dont see how that can possibly be on the pitcher. The official scorer agrees.
