I am STILL disappointed by the contract we gave him.  The reason this team is so different without his bat leading off, is not strictly because he is a valuable player.  Its because we are replacing him with a minor league level player.  That's why. 

Pagan is a pretty good leadoff hitter, average outfielder....and certainly not worth 10 mil a year.  Just because we dont have a serviceable replacement, doesnt mean it is a reflection of how good Pagan is.
