Belt is going to frustrate the hell out of us this year I feel...he'll do some bonheaded stuff then make quick amends. If he's making amends with his bat, though....
If we had lost last night, I'd be pissed at him right now for that boneheaded error that almost cost us the game. His hitting won't completely make up for crap defense, but I'm pretty sure last night was just an special case. His glove is usually on point. Hopefully we get some better defense and pitching today....I ain't tripping if the offense plays like that again.

Ive been one of Belts biggest critics. I just hate how inconsistent he has been to this point. Thus far, his two or three hot weeks (last year it was like four or five) masked the fact that he couldnt buy hits for the majority of the season. Felt his overall season stats were very misleading....even last year. I want to see .270-.290 every month....not .210 one month and .340 the next.
Hope this is his year. Could be. For the first time of his career, he didnt have an unbelievably good Spring Training.
