Pitching and hitting starting to come back to Earth. Come to expect this now after multiple title runs. This team is the definition of peaks and valleys during the regular season. We could be as high as we were in May or as low as we were early April.

Fortunately in October we have peaked 3 times.
 
Was cool seeing Michael Morse at the White House with the rest of the squad today.  Cool that his schedule/team allowed him to do that.

just for discussion. do yall think Giants should make a trade before the deadline? i know its not Sabean anymore at the helm, but im sure he still have the last word. Pitching has been the back bone of this team the last 5 years and i think they need help. I know Cain is making a comeback, but the way Heston is struggling he might get the short end of the stick and get sent down and still waiting on Peavy. i don't want to depend on Timmy or Huddy to make that stretch run, and i sure as hell don't want to see Vogelsong in a decisive game.

BUM/VOGGY/HESTO/HUDSON/LINCY

I think if Cain and Peavy is healthy it'll look like this
BUM/CAIN/HUDSON/PEAVY/LINCY/VOGGY (wishful thinking though)
 
If this team is in the hunt I think they would but nothing too big because that is not what this front office does.
 
Congratulations to Heston on throwing a no no that 1,429 Giants fan watched since he did it during Game 3 of the Finals

Could see that next year if he continues to show progress with secondary pitches and if we do not re-sign Casilla.
 
I hope Strickland continues to improve. That 2-seamer was pretty nasty.

I remember when Brian Wilson broke out the 2-seamer and got exited about how he'd utilize that pitch...Then he got hurt and never returned for the Giants LOL.
 
May seems like a distant memory at this point.

They need to take Hudson out in the pasture and just end it.
