:smh: We have struggled running the bases as a team this year but when ever there seems to be a mental lapse its either Belt or Blanco.

time to give up on belt. we really need more production from our corner positions.

You don't think the Giants should try to unload on some of the "assets" that this team has? Why not try to move Pence when he may have some value(according to some insiders)? If I were the Giants I'd listen to anything that doesn't include Bumgarner or Posey. Offense is horrible and bringing back the majority of them next year would be crazy.

We should sell. As far as pitching I think Lincecum would be gone if they felt Kickham or Surkamap could bring anything to the table.

As far as Pence Sabean has had a man crush on him since we have picked him up and he's already said he'd like to sign him to a long term deal. He's making nearly 14 million this year and he's probably looking for a 3 or 4 year deal in a couple months. Don't think he's worth it.

How are you guys feeling about Romo? I know the last couple outings he's struggled but I still think he has the stuff when he's focused to get 45-50 saves a year.
 
Romo definitely isn't a 45-50 save a year guy. But like jumpman said, he's an excellent setup guy.

I'd trade whoever isn't under contract next year for anything we can get, and I do mean anything. These guys are hitting the market in the offseason, might as well get something for them.
 
Yeah I love Romo as a setup guy but iffy about him as a closer. But why trade him? He still has a year on his contract after this one. I can see Pence, Lopez and possibly Timmy(although hes looked way better as of late. Maybe hes re-learned how to pitch?) being traded but they better get prospects in return that are on the verge of being major league ready. Belt is a complete failure and we should listen if teams are interested in Pablo. This team desperately needs more RBIs and power from it's corner positions. I swear that's been the story for the last 4 yrs. :x If they trade any of these guys I want starting pitching or power hitting corner outfielders/infielders. Don't want to see a complete fire sale tho...


Ownership group needs to open up the checkbook(both with free agent acquisitions and scouting and strengthening our player development I remember Neukom got canned because they said he was spending too much money on that wtf :x) a lil more Giants' fans deserve it. Need to take advantage while a rare player like Posey is in his prime.
