Sorry I should've gave more detail but I was in a hurry to go out but for me all I needed tailored was the width. The length was fine for me so I didn't really have to worry about the authentic patch at the bottom. And I didn't need a whole lot tailored. Took off an inch and a half. Since there's seams all over the jersey, I told her to take off half of what I needed from the back panel of the jersey and the other half off from the front. She basically deconstructed the whole jersey, tailored it and then put it back together. I also gave her another jersey of mine with the perfect sizing and fit to use as a template to tailor the black one.
I wish I can tell you where's her shop since I have a few soccer jerseys I want to tailor but she either retired or relocated. I showed up one day bag full of stuff and the place was cleaned out. It was in Chinatown so every time I walk through Chinatown I'm trying to see if I can run into her. I don't think she retired as she has a kid about to start high school in like a year or two. I just have to go find her new shop. But since you said the shoulders and chest are perfect except the length, don't put it in the dryer. It will shrink just a bit but it will shrink the whole jersey. Just take your jersey around to a few tailors and tell them about the authentic patch and ask them how they will tailor it.
Aramis Ramirez, Chase Headley, Eric Chavez, Hanley Ramirez, and Casey McGehee
Each one, I'd rather have over Pablo. Pablo has proven that he can't stay on the field consistently. He's also proven to be liable defensively, and doesn't have great plate discipline.
Sandoval, albeit the season just started, isn't hitting confidently and already has made bad plays at 3B, wants too much money. He needs to do way more to prove he's worth the money he's asking for.
Look at his numbers and tell me if he's any better than Pablo. Headley had a great 2012 season and is looking to get paid off that alone (he's making $8.5 million this year).
There is no homerun 3rd base acquisition in the free agent market. I don't know why you're excited about having the "best of the rest" when the rest aren't great.
I'd personally take Alberto Callaspo on a short-term deal instead. Or maybe offer Pablo a 1 year deal to rebuild his value. But after this Lincecum disaster, I kind of want to move on.
