Official 2023 San Francisco Giants Off-Season Thread - Jung Hoo Lee signs with SF 6-years $113 Million

I'm looking at MLB at bat and it looks like the Dodgers have stolen off Posey 3 times....yikes, also we haven't scored since the second inning....

Did not like how our bats went to sleep after the second inning. Glad we got the win though.

Starting pitching has been average so far with Hudson as the exception, hopefully that's just opening day symptoms.

Starting pitching has been average at best. I thought Lincecum did pretty well despite giving up 4 ER. But, he didn't walk anybody and if not for the second mistake that was in Trumbo's wheelhouse I would've said he had a damn good outing.

But hey, we're 4-1 (should be 5-0) and in first place so I'll take it.

The starting pitching will get better with time. For now lets keep riding the wave with this offense :smokin

Nice....is there a reason Crawford isn't playing? Or is it just rest?

Because he sucks.

Dude is a defensive stud, but:

Brandon Crawford will be benched this season against some left-handers.
Advice: Given his career .214/.272/.297 batting line versus southpaws, he probably would be benched against all of them if the Giants had a viable alternative. Joaquin Arias will play short against some lefties, with Brandon Hicks handling second base. "I need to hit better against left-handed pitchers. I know that," Crawford said. "I'm going to go out there and do my best, and hopefuly I have those good at-bats. I know (manager Bruce Bochy) is trying to put the best lineup on the field. I want to be part of the best lineup."

ESPN is really just sitting here talking about Puig non-stop....so annoying. Cain is so......he's really infuriating right now.
