Official 2023 San Francisco Giants Off-Season Thread - Jung Hoo Lee signs with SF 6-years $113 Million

Little things that have cost us runs in this game.

Sharp ground ball hit to Morse and he throws a duck to Bumgarner. I thought the ball was hit so hard that Morse should've been able to cover the base on his own. This allowed the Rockies to score later on a fielders choice.

Crawford bobbles a check swing grounder that could've been an out, it ends up being a run.

Adrianza doesn't turn the double play that should've been made easily imo and that would've ended the inning, Morneau then doubles in two runs right after

Not to mention the back to back innings 2nd and 3rd or 3rd and 4th where the bases were loaded and we failed to take advantage.

I think Crawford also had a bobble on that double play that should've been turned

So happy I havent been able to witness any of the last three games. What a disaster. We should be talking about how we swept the Rockies and extended our lead instead of this crap.

Just saw a graphic on MLB network Matt Cain leads MLB with 85 no decisions.

The sooner management realizes Scuaro isn't making it back the sooner we can address the 2b issue.

As far as the bullpen I'm more worried about the amount of innings they have/are throwing when Tim Lincecum and Ryan Vogelsong can't get out of the 5th. Casilla will we back soon and I'm pretty sure we will add an arm by the deadline. Bullpen arm that is Jeff Samardzija is not coming :frown:

Wouldn't be shocked if we lost both games against Chicago and I wouldn't be shocked if we won both.

How much more of a beating can Posey continue to take behind home plate.

Why can't this dude keep the ball down?  I just don't ******* get it.  Pitch after pitch its a fastball mid thigh or a breaking ball around the waist.  I'm really close to putting Cain in Lincecum territory...

It is what it is. Cain is a #3/4 at best in a rotation, Vogelsong is a 5, Lincecum is a long reliever at this point. We've gotten away with it up to this point, but it was only a matter of time before the rotation showed who they really are outside of Bum and Hudson. Seriously need to consider two rotation arms at the deadline. If we can't get Samardizja, Alex Cobb would be a great fit for AT&T. Rays definitely are going to be sellers.
