really like those arms, doesnt solve the bats issue...gonna be hard with basically just crick and susac with any minor league value...then truly, youre left with a bunch of single a talent

Cain not making progress; done for season?
Matt Cain has not been making progress in his early rehabilitation from an elbow injury.
Cain has been out with right elbow inflammation since July 11 and there's no timetable for his return. He will get another round of tests done next week. It's possible that the right-hander won't return this season -- and that's a big part of the reason why the Giants were so aggressive in trading for Jake Peavy.

It's pretty much an automatic L when Kershaw comes to town. Wouldn't be surprised if he has an era last than one for his career here.

The left-hander improved to 12-6 with a 1.40 ERA in 23 career games against the Giants, including 7-2 with a 0.69 ERA at AT&T Park.

So far the Uggla experiment has been a complete utter failure. He better provide something soon or his career is OVA! Giants need to make one more move, hopefully for Ben Zobrist
