Official 2023 San Francisco Giants Off-Season Thread - Jung Hoo Lee signs with SF 6-years $113 Million

Been bitting my tongue about this... Espn has us #4 in MLB in attendance money is being printed. We'd easily be #1 or #2 if AT&T held more than 42,000 If the spin this offseason is its either Pablo or a 2nd tier big name starting pitcher than this team really does plan on milking the 2010/2012 seasons for all there worth.

Milking those last two are exactly what this team is trying to do. We're literally worth like a billion and are a top 5 most valuable team in baseball yet we act like we're the A's. For once can we pony up and sign someone. Could Zito have terrified the front office that much?

Not only is the team cheap, to a point, but they spend money unwisely.

I don't know if anybody heard Bobby Evans interview today, but he was asked about Gary Brown again. He said that he had a hitch in his swing that he was hesitant to change, and a lot in the organization thought that held him back. According to him, he has improved his swing and he wouldn't rule out that he MIGHT be a September call up (yeah right).

Like Panik's approach honestly.

I don't think you can call a top 8 payroll cheap. They've spent stupidly, but they've spent so you can't really call them cheap.

I don't doubt Brown will be up for Sept.

if my numbers are correct,

lincecum now has an 8.31 ERA and a 1.92 WHIP in the first inning ytd

When he loses his mechanics or whatever. Man he really, really loses it.

This guy threw a GD no hitter this year.

Classic Lincecum.

Got one more year of this ****.

I don't ******* get it. This organization babies him like no other. He's not getting the job done lately plane and simple. Skip his spot have him work on his mechanics + get some additional rest and see what happens... I mean the results can't get worse can they?
