Official 2023 San Francisco Giants Off-Season Thread - Jung Hoo Lee signs with SF 6-years $113 Million

Anybody know where I could buy 2010 World Series fitteds? I lost both of mine already.

Drunken nights. :smh:

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you guys. We have many things to be thankful for in the past 3 years. Hopefully our window is still open! Hope you guys are all enjoying the day!

The San Francisco Giants have been talking with Angel Pagan, but aren’t sure they want to give him as many years as he wants in his next deal…

-Buster Olney

3 years max, walk away from the table if it's anything past that.
I value Pagan, just don't overvalue him.
Agreed. If Pagan can't get his contract in SF, it would be best if he went to another team who would give him that contract. I'm confident Sabean can bring someone in the outfield for a cheaper price. Why not move Blanco to CF and find a decent LF? Gary Brown ready yet?

Blanco is not a everyday CF. if anything I'd pay Bourn top dollar over Pagan. Don't want Pagan to be the 2012 contract version of Huff

Yeah, Blanco can't play everyday and Gary Brown is regressing. I like Bourn, but his best days are behind him.

I predict they sign Pagan to something ridiculous.

So...Upton receives a five-year contract for $70 milllion to $75 million for #Braves. 14 or 15 million a year. I see Pagan wanting 4 years maybe about 12 per. Let's say 50 million - 4 years.

Pagan 4 years at 50 million?

Can't believe Brian Wilson is trying to pull this crap.

Saying his 2nd choice is to sign with the Dodgers.

Go right ahead - last time I remember hearing something similar, Biedrins was "thinking" about playing in Russian.

In this case, its a high WHIP closer coming off his 2nd career Tommy John surgery who won't be anywhere close to healthy come opening day.  He got paid north of $8 million for 2 days last year - no way do we tender him a contract but he's crazy to think he can demand anything outrageous.  And his claims of over exerting himself during the World Series run are laughable.  Take your $300,000 bonus this year and fall back - didn't have to over exert **** this year.

It's fun to watch Wilson because he's a good closer and his antics are comical. But at the end of the day it's still baseball and we won a World Series without his production. I'm not saying I'd tell him to kick rocks. But if he's not with us next season I wouldn't be too depressed about it.

I wouldn't mind him back, but at the right price. If he feels like he's back 100% then put a bunch of incentives in his contract and let him prove that. Get paid for who you are now, not what you did/were. Word to Huff.
