TheGodFresco TheGodFresco Closest thing resembling this year so far is probably 2003 which is not really good sign if you're superstitious :\

That year, they finished 100-61 and were in first place literally the entire year and ended up losing to the Marlins in the NLDS :smh:

The core of this team has already proved they can win the entire thing with the chips stacked against them so I wouldn't worry about superstitions anymore or comparisons to past chokers. 

my memory goes back to the mid 90s and this is definitely the best Giants TEAM I have ever seen. Individually they might not be the sexiest names, but as a unit they are elite.
