Official 2023 San Francisco Giants Off-Season Thread - Jung Hoo Lee signs with SF 6-years $113 Million

Cain will never be a 2 again. His pitches are just bland now.

I would like to see a rotation like this next year:

Bumgarner
Big Name FA
Leake
Heston (depending how his arm responds to a full season)
Peavy

Cain regulated to Vogelsong's role.

Probably a fantasy because the front office is committed to Cain.

There was conversation on KNBR and Giants pregame live about it due to him Reinjuring re-injuring his oblique yesterday. I think they will know for sure after tonight game and the MRI.

I am already expecting a couple weeks at the minimum. Obliques are never simple when predicting a return. Hopefully Pence is one of those guys that heals faster than others.

Nice win RV battled early lucky we were able score a couple to get the win. Let's take the series tomorrow.

let's go A's

LMAO, saw the scoring summary that Bum got a run. Thought "wtf? didn't he just pitch a complete game the other day?" Then I saw he was in as a PH

Needed this because if they lost they would probably get swept with Cain going tomorrow.

Bumgarner already the second best hitter off the bench behind Susac

I really like how versatile Bumgarner has become lol.

But, I really dislike the oblique strain injury Hunter Pence has.

So what available OF are out there? It's not good when Bumgarner is the best PH on the bench.

Giants gave up Stephen Johnson. A Double-A 6th Round draft pick relief pitcher. Hopefully Byrd is that lightning in a bottle that we always seem to find at the end of the year.
