Nike Foamposite 'White Camo'

Why do people saran wrap shoes?

mean.gif
Apparently slows down the aging process?

Idk, my Concords are DS and they already yellowing around the traction pods. My cousin saran wrapped his and there is not a

sign of anything. So maybe it is legit.

Actually, it does nothing but hurt the shoe over time.

I remember someone did it to a pair of 99 Cement IV's and they unwrapped them 4-5 years later to wear them and they broke apart.

Saran wrapping a shoe = no air to circulate it

no air = no breatheability (spelling?)

no breatheability = drying out

drying out = shoe crumbling to pieces

Sorta makes sense, right?

Just my personal assumption, not basing this off experience at all. That is because I do not saran wrap my shoes.

Correct.

I think stores do it so they don't get dirty when people touch them, I would rather a shoe get dirty where I could clean it than the sole fall apart.

For those who are interested in these, I seriously think these may flop and nike already knows. I just got word from a footaction employee in my state that they have 53 pairs in the store!!
you know how many shoes ive missed out on becuase theyre expected to flop? you shouldve seen the DB9 thread 7 pages then release day comes and its a mad scramble everyone tryna get pairs. im not taking any chances ill make sure i get mine expected to sell or not...

Its funny cause if you go to the start of the other thread EVERYONE was like EZPASSSSSSSSS not for me ugly ewww nike messing it up, im done with foams and now they all in here like when these drop, i need these in my life smfh

its all good though im def getting my pair

these will still fly. May not be good money for a reseller, but im sure they'll sell out like lightning starting with JJ, then you'll hear the crybabies (noobs and vets alike). gonna be nice and not call out any nt vet names but you guys know who you are...I c u guys in every thread bringing in tears. then you get a little good useful info like fit and quality, how they break in over time, ect.... then millions of restock q's and my order shipped hahaha comments and so on and so forth. Buuuutttttt its better than cable!

good assumption. This is why the longest I keep a clear bottom sole on ice is a year before I bring em out. I usually give my sneakers away after I wear them a bit but I'm gonna start keeping some of the clear bottom sneakers to dye different. My friends bro dyes his foam soles brand new but I don't have the balls for that yet.

I can only imagine how it would be in Myrtle Beach, yet again I don't think much people know about these.

Im gonna attempt to dye these soles black, i think the will look much better with a black/smoked sole

I'm copping these there's no and if or but about it saw them in person and IMO they look better when u can hold them in ur hand

Idk about Flop. Everyone expected these to be super limited. Now there a GR and people are exiting the train... Once the ASG foams are announced these will just get easier to cop. Count me in on 2 pairs

I think these the only foams to come out in Feb son. Pretty sure the ASG foams woulda been announced by now. The Area 72 pack has already been announced, the Brons KD and Kobe ASGs have been announced so why wait on the Foams at this point and look how close we are to ASG Weekend. If im wrong cool I'd rather it be something better than these anyway to come out. I also believe the Barkley Posite is the ASG foam tho these just come out a week or 2 prior if im not mistaken
