I think TFA is going to be huge, and great, and do big numbers, but I have a feeling that Rogue One is going to change history. Like, special, special film change history.

Can not express how pumped I am for that film.

I know you're asking CP the question but I think Rogue One is going to change the way we look at the SW universe on film as a whole. It so much stuff that can be explored within this 'world' so to speak. Not just the jedi/sith but other important factors, concepts, characters. etc...  It will give us a new perspective that we, ourselves, could have never imagined or always wanted to but couldn't put the pieces of the puzzle together...

I meant in terms of everything Star Wars.

A Saving Private Ryan type of war film, but in the Star Wars setting. Ground assaults, space battles, bounty hunters, prime Vader (possibly) prime Boba Fett, no Luke, or Han, maybe a Leia cameo (getting the plans)

It's going to be the first of its kind. And open the doors for the future spin off films. To me, that's historical. And that's only if the movie is average.

it would be a first in the starwars universe but i think disney is just using their marvel formula with starwars

you have the main epics (avengers, episode 7-9) then you have smaller movies that branch off in different genres

For those who have read spoilers here are my huge gripes for the new movie. Let me know if you agree.

why have han solo die on the first movie?why not save that for the 8th or 9th movie? Why not explain more why kylo ren his supposed son hates him so much? I have a sickening feeling that disney has the han solo being married thing in the comic for why him and leia dont care for each other and kylo ren being the child of han solos wife and him being bitter for that. Disney inserting that lifetime movie plot to appeal to the female viewers.

Another thing is why kill domhall gleeson after one movie??? From reading the spoilers he seems like a straight bad ***! Did they not learn from darth mall? This could have been another tarkin.

And lastly these weapons of mass destruction. The sledgehammer? Really??? They gonna call such bad *** weapons like that simple names like that? The baddies have a weapon with a silly name too.

Oh and it pisses me off that were never going to see the gang together again. Classic back and forth banter between them. They could have atleast gave us this before han dies.
