I requested off work for December 18th. 

Same here. I requested the whole weekend off. i also graduate with my Masters the day after Star Wars comes out. But that's second fiddle.

Hopefully, I can be the first Kylo Ren in NJ's 501st garrison and we can do an event at the theater by me. We'll have to talk to the theater manager when the time gets closer.

Found the whole TFA Black Series last Friday(WM), here are some quick pics I snapped with my iPhone.

Still didn't open Rey, Chewie or the FO Stormtrooper yet.  Overall, I'm a fan, and these were going to be the only figures I planned on getting from the line(unless some 3 3/4" figure blows me away, which I doubt).  Kylo's mask does not come off, and I used Bespin Luke's lightsaber with Finn.

Stopped by TrU, and WM today doin some birthday shopping for my son. Massive displays cleared to make room for all of the episode VII stuff. 2 TrU employees were talking about how some employees at another location were opening shipments too early, and putting out signage too early. Dude said the employees got fired, and TrU is serious about not selling product until the 4th.

Yeah, I was surprised.  It wasn't my local, so I gave it a shot.  Cashier entered some numbers into the register, and price.  I'm guessing he overrode the street date by putting in a generic upc, or something.

Stormtrooper x1

Rey x1

Chewbacca x1

Bought them all-I'm an opener, but wanted to keep a sealed Kylo as well.

They were on the pegs where the old Slave Leias, Greedos, and Obi Wans used to be for so many months.

No doubt. I'll have one of my boys be my cameraman so hopefully, we get a lot of good shots. Should be real fun.

I have some displayed on wall shelves that I bought at Target a couple of years ago.  The rest are on a bookshelf I have in my room.  They all stand pretty well on their own, although Han in Stormtrooper disguise falls over every now and then.

Try picking up an Detolf display case from Ikea. They can make things look cleaner with the right setup. That's what I use for my figures.
