According to Making Star Wars, Vader's iconic costume has been faithfully recreated by helmet sculptor hBrian Muir and his team, and "perfectly" matches Vader's look in A New Hope.

The outlet also claims that original voice actor James Earl Jones will be returning to voice Vader in Rogue One. Whether or not his lines have already been recorded is unknown, as they may be added in post-production.


Reports also claim Vader will be played by a completely new actor, and there's no word on exactly how large a part the character will have in the film. That said, rumblings suggest he'll be a "prominent player in a few scenes and something to fear for the heroes."

And I don't expect Rogue One to clean up like TFA. I'd say 400+ mil domestic, 1.5 Bil worldwide.

I just knew it wouldn't hit those numbers because China/overseas doesn't care about Star Wars like that.. the domestic numbers and how fast they hit that was insane, though.

I'm not giving up yet. Few more weeks inching along. Also, both Titanic and Avatar had re-releases that garnered a lil extra. I wonder if Disney does a similar thing.

Course, I say that knowing they need a full billion dollars to break the mark. And 1.3 to reach 3 bil.

watched it for the 4th time yesterday, some quick thoughts

still 50/50 on if rey broke kylo's lightsaber at the end, although I do think he will end up building a "proper" lightsaber eventually

Kylo leaves his helmet where he killed han so maybe he will get a new one by next movie

c3po looked off, I understand that they make the costume so that the actors have an easy time moving around but the gold paint/finish looked cheap and not as good as the metal finish in past movies.

when leia's ship is landing and han is waiting to see her for the first time in years, finn runs up to him in a panic and talks about rey being kidnapped. Han brushes him off with a "yeah whatever", not very father like
