and i could be completely wrong because i havent really kept up with the force awakens since the first trailer...but for some reason i dont think kylo ren is the bad guy. it looks like the chrome storm trooper with the cape is...is he captain phasma?

maybe kylo ren is just like a casey jones type guy who doesnt really have a side right now.

just my thoughts.

Haha you really must read the book, but here's a quick breakdown:

Spoiler: Warning: Spoiler!

Throughout the book, Plaguies does a lot of researching and experimenting with manipulating midi-chlorians to prolong life and to achieve immortality. Sidious does kill him like he told Anakin he did...but did he really?
The book really doesn't answer this question, which is awesome for it.

Even with knowing this, you should still read the book. I went in it knowing this "spoiler" of the book and still loved it. This book also makes watching the Prequels more enjoyable tbh as it ties VERY well with the movies.
The book isn't yet canon, but I really think they will make it canon at some point! The story is so intriguing.

We don't know yet.

Speculation/rumors have it that he went away into hiding, and that the protagonists go searching for him. Maybe he does some Jefi training to the new characters.

If he did go into hiding, did he ever train Leia in the ways of the force? Did Leia stay in politics? Are Han and Leia still together after all these years? It's really open to endless possibilities at this point!

I think this trilogy will focus on the new characters, Han Solo may not survive even Ep 7. Ford has always wanted Solo to die a heroes death, so maybe he signed up because he was promised he'd get it.

Oh really? Do you like the Prequels, or the original trilogy more seeing that you first experienced Star Wars with the Prequels?

I watched the original trilogy at home on VHS, and watched the Prequels in theaters as a kid. I have fond memories of experiencing the Prequels in theaters, but the original trilogy has my heart lol
