Movie wise, they doin exactly what I hoped for.

Book wise, they are replacing 57 books, with 3. That's, not good.

But, 57 books came out over 2 decades, so things can, and hopefully will, change.

Disneyland To Build 'Star Wars' and Marvel Theme Parks

Star Wars Land and Marvel Land will be coming soon to the amusement park’s California location.

“Star Wars Land” will be built just north of the park, with rides and shows being kept in a top secret “Imagineering Lab” in Glendale, California and is said to include attractions related to the next three episodes of the space opera franchise. Reports also state the upcoming launch of a temporary “Star Wars Miniland,” which will be open to the public at the end of the year.

Marvel Land, on the other hand, will be constructed behind the famous Tower of Terror ride and will feature a new ride system with on-board audio as well as elaborate effects and animatronics. Watch out for more news surrounding the expansion at the upcoming D23 official Disney fan club convention.

How many of those books were good, though?

The majority of them. I personally haven't read the X-Wing series, but Chester vouches for them. The others I have read, including half a dozen by Zahn. (The reason the EU even came to be)

The other trilogies are the rebuilding of the Jedi Order, the birth of the Solo children, and then eventually the Yuuzhan Vong invasion. (Several books)

There are certainly onesie-twosies that coulda been skipped, but they cover a ton of time spanning 3 decades.

For those with the SDCC Storm Trooper. How do you guys like it? Thinking about buying one of eBay.

It's a pretty good figure, I really liked mine. But someone DM'd me on IG to buy mine for $95 this week because he said all of the eBay ones are going for $100+, so I gladly sold him mine  Are you really gonna spend that much on this small figure?

There should be plenty to go around in three weeks when the TFA toyline gets released. I'd say just hold out until Sept. 4th.

Just got mine in the mail yesterday. Will post pics when I get home tonight. Packaging looks like someone sat on it before putting it in the shipping box, that was the only thing I was disappointed in. I wouldn't pay anything over retail for it though. I'm thinking about passing mine along and just picking up whatever comes out soon in a different box. I almost prefer the regular black series packaging.

Good idea. I figured it would be cheaper.

I was contemplating on getting that Samurai Storm Trooper and Darth Vader set...But that price is too much.

Got 1-8 Darth Vader comics in the mail now. Can't wait.

Was hanging out with a girl last week and she found my Star Wars comics then admitted she was really into Star Wars and asked if we could read them together. :pimp: read first six comics then had sex. Very memorable night. I'm sending her the digital codes for the Vader comics when I get them.

This is the best Star Wars fan fiction I have ever read. :D

If you are seeking perfection in the new trilogy you are setting yourself up for failure

Like the prequels and the original trilogy there are tons of bad things you can point out in tfa based on the spoilers

I think because most of us were kids when the original trilogy was out or passed onto us when we were small that it makes us a bit forgiving and biased towards the ogs whereas we were all pretty much grown men when the prequels came out and didnt have that child hood innocence anymore.

I have a few major gripes with the new movie but i will look past that because i am a star wars fan and understand these movies shouldnt be held to oscar award winning standards

I wish it had the Black Series packaging instead of being exposed after you take off the slip cover. Regardless, I love it because I only paid $28 at SDCC. Wouldnt buy for $100 though. I would just wait until the general toy release for the movie.

Phasma and Kylo Ren figures will be copped to go along with the First Order Stormtrooper

Also, Drew Struzan needs to make a Force Awakens poster. If he does...I will instantly cop and frame.
