Dating apps as a whole have fell off. People are getting fatigue from them and Match group is getting greedier.
I've just as much if not better success lately in the field.

I made an account recently and deleted it after 2 weeks. Its crazy how much it fell off. Back in the day my feed would be filled with absolute baddies but now its no where near. It actually made me consider paying but im sure thats the intention.
But honestly I chalked it up to me being older and i figured the dating app algorithms arent good for people over 30. Im sticking to in person only going forward. No apps.

No, it's not you. It's the apps. A new competitor is needed.
I still do well on Hinge but its down and every other app for me is basically useless. 400+ matches on Hinge, and I might get 3 a week on Tinder if I'm lucky, Bumble is a wasteland.
Also I don't live in the biggest city.

it’s funny because i think i read somewhere that hinge won an award for their algorithm, which basically gives more ‘unattractive’ folk more chances by mixing them in on & of cyclically…
the apps overall are kinda cooked because i don’t think any are actually profitable & womenfolk are fatigued already, the increasing monetization is probably going to put them in the dirt because the ratios are wild in terms of how the men outnumber the women…i don’t imagine men are still going to pay for the inevitable worse results
