Hinge Takeover >>> Tinder, Bumble Pof

Aside from how you look, which is crucial, the quality (not quantity) of the content in your profile is important too.

For example, putting that you're a med student and entrepreneur is going to get you more responses than, say, an auto mechanic from a local community college.

Eh not exactly. Since most people exaggerate/LIE about literally everything from their job to traveling. According to OKC profiles almost every chick I come across under 29 are making 60k+ a year  :rolleyes

Banking/Finance = CSR at bank customer service center or a teller at a bank.

Showing personality, sense of humor etc stands out more.

Of course there will be liars. But I'm saying, it sparks initial curiosity. If we're talking long-term relationships, yeah those lies aren't going to work in your favor, but if it's just for a quick fix, whatever gets the girl to hang out is most important.

Anyway, personality is going to be the most important thing (outside of physical attractiveness) once you meet up, anyway. So despite what you have on your profile, it's all going to come down on how personable you are.

I just didn't like the fact that you basically **** on blue collar type dudes. You sounded like a bird

Like the one guy posted in here about working for a railroad company...there's nothing wrong with that.

You really want a chick in your life long term who would be with you if your were in med school but not some type of mechanic ?

These chicks don't actually give a **** about what you do as long as it's not illegal (In the sense of getting to know you and actually caring) they basically just wanna know that you have income and aren't living with your parents.

Personally I'm against putting too anything specific about your life online whether it be a dating site or NT.

They don't post anything to your wall and you get to choose what pics to post. It's straight. You're guaranteed to see people you know on there anyways.

Side. I keep getting e-mails from POF saying so and so "wants to meet you." Is this POF trolling me or did someone actually like my profile?

Ugly fat *******...

I don't think you can choose what pics show up on tinder (at least I haven't been able to) it just picks my most recent profile pics. Nothing gets sent to your Facebook though. You could make a dummy one if you want though. I've already seen the fake ones. But I like it because you can dislike profiles so easily instead of seeing the same ones show up all the time as matches.

And I just moved to Houston so I don't see any of my FB friends

I swipe "nope" too fast and missed out on some potential. Can those females I missed out on come back and "like" me? Or is that it?

Not sure. If you redo your search preference in the settings it may show them again. Don't take my word for it though.

Just swipe everybody to the right on Tinder and sort out the nopes if y'all end up matching (you can block them if they annoy you with the messages).

When did I **** on anyone? I'm speaking on the harsh realities of life - professional school gets you more women than vocational school. Might not be the women you want in your life, but it's a simple fact. No need to be offended if you're a blue collar worker, Executive.

Just ask yourself, would you rather have a long-term relationship with a woman who works as a professor at the local university, or the night manager at Starbucks?

I, too, don't think putting too many details on a profile is a good idea. When I was active on OKC, I usually save the details for in-person conversations. I don't even add on social media platforms unless it's something more serious.

 man if you want a serious long term, invest that $20 a month or so and join Match for quality girls.

Half the girls on PoF and OKC can't even pass a coloring test. It's obvious the majority are here to smash and looking for some fun.

What waffle is saying is that he doesn't want to date a girl with no future when he's trying to be an md.

I pulled 4 numbers off POF on Monday night after a few days of some back an forth convo. I couldn't hit them up until yesterday though cause my phone finally got fixed after 3 weeks with a cracked screen. Already trying to making moves with 2 of them plus another one I got from OKC last month. Tomorrow is my birthday, so I'm tryna take advantage.

Thierry Henry Thierry Henry

I have a Blackberry.

If I can get online broads with an ancient phone that's the laughing stock of the general public, you should have no problems.
I feel you on that, I used to have a Blackberry up until this point last year.

man this broad had the nerve to call me a lame cause I don't have twitter, IG, kik, etc.. ummm what?

How old is she? Under 22 or 23  ? Cause those are the only airheads I run across that say stuff like that . If it weren't for POF, I wouldn't even know what kik was.
She was 21, and yea most girls under 23 say some dumb **** like that. When I ask for the number they instead offer to give me their IG, Kik, or Twitter.

i get the weird look also when I tell people I don't have nothing but a FB

i get the craziest reactions when i tell people i dont even have FB
 bruh I literally deleted everything. Tumblr, FB, Twitter, etc....

All I have is a NT account :nthat:

Keep messages to a minimum. I send maybe 2 then get the number. That's the goal for me at least to take the convo off there and to my phone. Also POF is a game of numbers. More you hit up more messages In your inbox. Go hard for a day and grab a couple numbers and chill for a few days. If they flake or get boring go back and repeat the process lol
this right here is the truth
no lie I literally messaged about 50+ chicks over the weekend and only about 16 or so responded and I'm having a convo with at the moment.

I'm gonna chill for a while though since I got those 4 numbers off there. I have about 10+ unread messages(no humble brag)and I just hope these O's ain't mad that I took so long to respond.

Yes and no. Connection is important, but I just feel like I'd want a companion that works as hard as I do. Kinda like having a business partner. You end up resenting your business partner if he/she doesn't work as hard as you. That just spells trouble later down the road.

I think regardless of long-term and short-term goals, coming from a strong background, financially and professionally, is only going to help you when it comes to attracting the women that are worth attracting. Some of them will be gold-diggers, of course, so you'll have to sift through and be careful.

You basically said you'll get more response as a med student vs a mechanic...

 I wasn't offended at all especially since it doesn't apply to me  .... I just think it's funny for male to have that point of view.

Remember the guy who posted saying he thought women stopped responding because he worked for the railroad... I was basically speaking for him.

wj4 wj4 As I've stated before a lot of these women are on or have been on multiple dating sites...so it's just silly to think a female is quality just because she's on Match.com regardless of education....educated girls are on MissTravel.com too

You're 6'1? Well I'm 5'3". That's 11'4" of awesomeness! Which really has no significance at all...but Obama was elected on 11/ 4 /08 as the first black presidential candidate...and that was a great date in history, no? So actually...this kinda means that you & I could go down in history....together...sort of. Hi. I'm Carmen
