JORDAN BRAND signs BLAKE GRIFFIN!

Feels great to have 2 Clipper Players representing the Jordan Brand once again!

I think I am in the minority, but I don't think Mr. Griffin style is up to par of what I would expect from a JB athlete.

Neither is half of their roster, but ppl like Ray Ray, Derek Jeter, D Wade (I know he's off), have a certain flow to their game that feels right for JB.

Blake ain't got that steez to his play.

Jumpman Teams before were better compared to signature shoes today.

He should have stayed in Nike.

(Slightly off-topic).  This move was a way to 'redeem' themselves for missing out on Vince Carter from the class of 1998.  BG32 has to be the most exciting dunker since VC.   Had VC not been the face of shox, he might not have suffered so many knee injuries.

VC came into the league wearing Puma for the first two seasons.  Then there was a dispute with his contract and he became a sneaker free agent wearing adidas, AND1 and sometimes Nike.  He became a Nike athlete during the 2000 Olympics debuting the Shox BB4 (notable: the dunk of Freddie Weiss of the French team).  He gets his signature shoe VC shox and they go on to five signatures, then he wears PE makeups of basketball shox.  In later years, he wore hyperdunk max.

This is the closest picture I can find of VC in a Jumpman logo.

Lettuce be cereal, Russel Westbrooke is a good player and all, but his decisions on the court simply make :smh: sometimes. Chris Paul, however, is not a bum. And did dude not see Carmelo take over when Amare and Jeremy Lin were out in the Playoffs???

say all you want bout russ... he might easily be the best player on jordan brand.. griffin might be a highlight reel, but that is about it.. his offensive game is very limited...

I don't think the dudes at Jordan are out there trying to figure out who best fits the flow/style of the brand. They want to sell shoes.

I dont think 11s are a good fit for blake, its not that they are bad shoes just not suited to big men, he needs a shoe like al horford in the hyperposite or a lebron max type shoe.

The only jb shoe i can think that might suit his game is the flight 23rst or flight 45max. The retro 9 would be a better fit that these 11s

but he wore hyperdunks before and those aren't really made for big men specifically either?

Most forwards in the NBA wear hyperdunks, Im not sayin he cant/shouldnt wear em but if hes smart hell get some max air to help reduce the impact on his knees.

I think the Hyperposite would that's been a GREAT shoe for him to market. But under JB with so much of their focus on guards I hope they can find a median to fit his style of play. Kind of like the Melo 1.5 and Melo V
