Theses is picking up finally. I feel like they just want perk to stop the player and have serge come block from the weak side. Works sometimes......

Was about to go to the gym after work today but forgot OKC is playing the grizz tonight. Guess I'm skipping the gym laugh.gif

Good start for the us!

damn ellington is hitting right now

Kevin Martin always gets cooked. Teams just go to whoever he is guarding
post #37 of 437

Well that was a terrible quarter. Our second unit is not looking good so far tonight and where the hell is our D? Granted they are hot right now but still 30 something points in a quarter mean.gif

Our Maynor, Martin, Sef, Collison, Thabeet lineup lost us the game. But now our starters sucked balls to end the half and the 3rd too

lowkey, Westbrook is a horrendous defender except when he's dialed in then he's literally one of the best in the league. He never gets around screens and his man always scores, I guess there's a communication aspect with the bigs at play there too but apparently he just goes off gameplan which may be go over, go under, switch, stay home, he always just does whatever he wants and gambles.

Hey_

Russ' defensive play (and his insistence on shooting tonight) are what really piss me off tonight.

The team played a great first quarter, then they just fell asleep!

agreed Russ can play D when he wants too but lately his gambling too much and losing people.

i really keep waiting for brooks to get it.. dont think it's ever going to happen..

it's simple things the team should be doing, but because of our coach it will never happen.. simple things like certain guys should be playing more against certain teams.. we all know perk serves his purpose against certain teams AND THAT IS IT

He's too stubborn to ever change. Dude just sat there and watched our bench lose the 2nd quarter by 21. Kevin Martin though, he has to get better on D. James wasn't a stalwart either, but he wasn't so bad you could just go at him every possession with whoever he was guarding and get a bucket (I unofficially counted 16 pts scored on him just in that second), sans for when we thought it was a good idea to put James on LeBron. Team is not looking promising right now. 0-3 against playoff opponents now. Got 2 crap teams, then the Clippers here in OKC again. I'm more scared of them than any other team in the league. Even last yr we couldn't handle them

Hey_

Absolutely love the ball movement tonight.

Yea and put in work from the 3pt line, 14 which is a Thunder record. KMart had 6. Westbrook still hasn't put together a complete game (although many of his games were actually better than his box suggests), but I'll take 12 assists to 2 tos, and he was straight beasting their point guards defensively, especially after that scrum with Vasquez which you could see coming from a mile away.

Also amazing we are getting something from Thabeet. He's by no means an all star or worthy of a #2 pick, but when he's your 2nd big off the bench, he can fill that role. He had 9 rebound today, 4 more than Ibaka and Perkins combined. 27,9,5 from KD and 27,5, 4 from KMart will do as well. Granted, it was the Hornets though.

Got the Warriors at home on Sunday, and then the real test is going to be the Clips at home on Wednesday.

Hey_

Those damn Clips.

Dat bench. mean.gif

I predict extended minutes for KD, Russ, Serge, and Martin.

(sometimes it seems as if the refs are pickin' on Hasheem)

Your team straight nasty...

Young, talented, and affletic. Put a +1 in the W column laugh.gif.
Just got back, the crowd is getting better but still not as loud as last yr and yr's prior, again its just the Warriors though.

Our rookies suck laugh.gif We should send them both to Tulsa as well as Reggie and let them get some pt and confidence.

Amazing that Perk on Curry worked better than anyone else (Russ, Thabo) on him did. And for as much as Kevin Martin scores and literally every crooked *** shot that leaves his hand looks like it's going in, he can;t guard ANYONE in the NBA. In just the last wk, he's gotten work from Charles Jenkins, Draymond Green, Quincy Pondexter, and Wayne Ellington.

Wednesday is going to be a big test. I am scared of the Clippers, but it would be huge to finally get a quality W if we could against them at home.

Damn didn't get to catch the game today but we got the W.

KD's first triple double pimp.gif

Big game against the clips, we didn't match up well with them last year hopefully it is the opposite this year
