You're from Denver? I live there now - moved from NYC about 2 years ago now. That Family Affair sale was great but they didn't have my size in a lot of stuff left. I actually just copped a pair of Neon Green OG's from another local spot for retail today. Not $85, but still pretty damn happy about it...
 
After 6 months of waiting, I finally got myself a pair for my born day. Helps that it's 30% off at my local joint too. Very happy with my pair.

Does anyone know if Nike is planning to put the air max 95 back on the ID site? I really like my no sew's and would love to ID some or see some better color ways then the ones I've been seeing.

TBH I love how Nike finally made a well put together 2013 OG release. Much better than the past several years where it seems like they did half a** job on the Neons which is why I skipped those. Color blocking is also much closer on point this time around

The 2005 HOA on the other hand I prefer the inner ankle support with its' softer sock like lining vs the new 2013 OG mesh which is more rough. The suede is also much more butter soft on the 2005 HOA's and the overall shoe itself has a softer exterior if that makes sense. The newer ones have this stiffness to it when compared.

If you are picking up a pair for the first time, or looking to replace an old beat up pair, the newer 2013 OG Neons shouldn't disappoint and are pretty good quality IMO.

I still lean to 2005 > 2013 but I am still overall pretty happy with the recent 2013's

Damm u pretty much narrowed it down to a t. But now nike has released the am 95 with no sew, which sucks. So they finally release an og shoe the right way and then they do a 180 and go with this no sew b.s.
 
Nice comparison. I didn't think about things like comfort. I got the OG's, since my 99's crumbled, and this is the first good release in the past couple of years. I was even happier than I expected seeing them in person. I'm glad I didn't do the 2011 release or prior overseas release, because I just couldn't get over them being black instead of grey. I can overlook the outlined swoosh.

That's a good price on the 2005's.

I know man, what's sad is I like the colorways too but I can't do the no sew

No doubt, the OGs are nice. The black instead of grey definitely did not look right at all on this classic shoe. And I think that why I jumped on the 2005s I just picked up because the price was right even though I didn't really need them

I'm all over these if quality is the same as the Neon 2013 OG release, looks like it in the comparison pics.
 
Pass if the check is outlined and the bottom panel is black and not grey

Solid color swoosh and correct grey gradient color blocking and I would buy damn near any colorway
