Ok, let me start by saying I am from the 80's/90's kid generation, and still with this sneaker game (at 30 plus), with that said I have seen and know enough from all sides.
Here I will break down the double standards that are beyond annoying.
In regards to resellers, I don't have a problem with people selling kicks (WE ALL have do or have done this), however what I do have a problem with, is people (OLDER and YOUNGER) who instead of just giving straight negotiating pricing (which works better with me), try to sell me or anyone for that matter kicks with some BOGUS history (example this is the colorway or the shoes Jordan wore, when clearly the color shoe came out after he retired or the fact Jordan never wore the shoe in the time frame stated) that they CLEARLY know nothing about, until I correct them and cry about getting historically spanked!
As well I can't stand the people (usually a certain group of the people), that want to complain about stores limiting abount of shoes one can purchase, but you will see these same people with 2 to 3 if not more full size runs of shoes to resell for rape prices, but these same people with ***** and complian when you do not sell your shoes to them (just for them to resell them) at way below low ball prices. I personally try to get two pairs of shoes if I can, so I can trade for a pair that I messed out on, if I am not able to then so be it, but I don't lose sleep over it. Its sad how many people lose sleep over kicks if they are able to get 10 plus pairs, but yet cry about shoes being limited. My questinon to you is, have you lost your damn mind?!
Next up we have the people who try to talk down to or bad mouth someone that does not like a shoe that these type of people like ONLY because OTHERS might think it is hot INSTEAD of using their OWN brain to determine what is hot to them! Stay in your lane and stop hating on what another likes, because they actually like it. However it is very easy to determine who likes something, just because others like it, and to you folks I say step ya game up and THINK for YOURSELF!
Then we have these people who try to ACT like they are grown by saying, I don't wear sneakers anymore and anyone else who does is not grown. What, are you CRAZY?! MOST of these folks walk around with the cheap suits, too tight slacks, the all white boring shoes or boring black/brown dress shoes and do NOT work, but live off of their significant other, but attempt to have the grown look, but others of us work, pay our OWN bills, dress for work and still come looking so fresh and so clean with the sneakers and etc and ENJOY life!
To Nike or any other shoe company, HOW IN THE WORLD can you advertise and in many cases have the nerve to EXPECT customers to live up to paying rediculous amount for shoes or apperal, but yet pass through SLOPPY product Examples the Lebron 9 elite, carbon fiber strips NOT lining up, words on the shoes FALLING OFF, paint job on the nike swoosh coming in CHIPPED and MELTED, shoe laces RIPPED and DIRTY, but yet you call them ELITE! As well the Kobe 7 heel cups WAY OFF the margin on lining up (sad thing is it is a beautiful shoe), to add the KB7 taking forever to break in on many pairs and painful at that on some (I will admit though because of the look I did purchase a number of them due to the look and after the break in period, I know SMH@ME)! Lol! As well the hyperdunks you guys call elite ripped like crazy for many people! Whats really goin on here?!
